I just got home from school when my friend Hailee called me asking about schoolwork. We got done talking when my mom called me downstairs. I walked down the stairs and jumped off the last two steps like always. "Yes mom?" I said. "Honey. I'm sorry but we have to move. We can't afford this households rent. We are gonna be looking at houses, but you need to pack up things you don't need for now" she replied and handed me a medium sized box. "What?! We are moving! Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" I replied "I'm sorry KaiLynn. I should have but I didn't have the gut. I did now though."
I was shocked to hear this. Unbelievable. I walked up the stairs slowly after missing the first step about five dozen times. I walked into my room and threw my box on my bed. "I'm guessing this is it" I said in a whispering tone." I first folded the box to make it you know, a box and started packing things off my bookshelf that has my makeup, drawing supplies, and like five books on it. I never read so I put the books in first. I like things neat so I walked into my sisters room to see if she was reading her books to put in my box.
After 2 hours I packed up all my useless things in separate boxes. By that time it was about 5:46 so I went downstairs to eat dinner. We all sat in an awkward silence until we were finished. I was exhausted to I went to bed.
"No! No! Leave me alone!" I kept hearing that over and over again. I followed the sound to see a man in a mask holding on to my sisters arm. "KaiLynn! Help!" She said. I ran to her but I was too far. Before I got to her the man kicked her behind the knee and dragged her outside. "Maddi!" I screamed running after her. Next thing I knew the man had a gun pointed to her head. I stopped in shock to see her scared bruised face from the sidewalk. I started running again. BOOM! I stood in shock and and fell to my knees as the man ran off. I crawled to her to see her dead body. I started balling, I looked up and saw a dog looking really angry running at me.
I awoke. Breathing heavy, realizing it was just a dream, and went back to sleep.
