Finally Out of the Church

When I was rereading this to get an idea of where I was for the next chapter I realised how many spelling mistakes there were so I proof read it that's all this repost was no change to plot or anything.

Yukio P.O.V

I was relaxing in my room with Liánhuā wrapped around my arms, when someone knocked on my door. I put Liánhuā back into her enclosure much to her disdain then went to open the door to find Yui on the other side. She scoffed then opened her loud mouth. 

"Father wants to see us both in his office so hurry up!" she then, struts? Well I think that's what she's trying to do, but she just looks like a disabled pigeon. Against my own will I begin walking to Seiji's office.

When I walk into the room Yui is already there when she sees me she has the look of disgust on her face and pushes past me shoving me to the side. I turn to Seiji waiting for him to tell me why I'm here. He turns towards me a scowl on his face. 

"You will be taken to an aquaintance of mines house with Yui, go pack your medicine will be delivered monthly so make sure you take it. We wouldn't want to make those your staying with uncomfortable" as I turn to walk away he says one more thing that confuses me, "Make sure that Yui doesn't get hurt by them".

I go back to my room and begin to pack my limited belongings. I take Liánhuā out of her enclosure and find a pillow case to put her in for now. She doesnt look too happy whilst I try to coax her in.

"I know, I know I don't like it either especially since we'll be with Yui. But I'll let you out as soon as we get to the new place, okay?" I negotiate and reluctantly she slithers into the case I loosely tie it closed. I carefully placed her on my bed then packed my other belongings, I put my hoodie over my shoulders grab my suitcase carefully lifted Liánhuā into my arms. I make my way out and into the taxi I keep the pillowcase with my slithering friend in my lap. Yui is pouting next to me since Seiji was to busy preparing for his 'business trip' to come and see her off. So now she in a mood, I don't have a phone or headphones or anything to keep me entertained so I slip my hand into the pillowcase and let Liánhuā wrap around it. With her comforting scales keeping pressure on my hand I fall asleep.

Mother was always a difficult  woman to please, she always told me she loves me. So that must mean that she does, right? She only hits me because father tells her to doesn't she? Yes, of course. Those were my thoughts when I was small, how naive I was...

I never truly knew how much the thought of my mother haunted me until  she passed away.

That's when s&%$"£%^ %^££"&%%%.

I woke up startled, just another memory it's fine. I look out the window and notice a mansion, it's huge I dare say it looks more like a castle than a mansion. I look to the seat beside me to see Yui looking at the place like she's in a dream or something I can tell that she's getting excited. I don't know which one is worse to deal with though, an excited Yui or a pouty Yui. The taxi comes to a stop outside the gates of the mansion, I slip my hand out of Liánhuā's grip then loosely tied the bag again. Yui's already gotten her bags and left for the front door, I grab my bag and go to pay the driver but he's already speeding away. That's not giving a bad vibe at all, I turn to look at the house. I mean I guess it could pass as one of those haunted looking mansions but it can't be that bad. While I'm lost in thought it starts pouring down and I start running towards the door where Yui is waiting for me, surprisingly. She scoffs at me then knocks on the door, nothing happens, she knocks again but harder, when nothing happens again she goes to yank on the handle but then the door swings open like it was daring us to come in.

Of course Yui being Yui she waltzes in like she owns the place, touching expensive looking antiques and paintings hanging off the walls. I look around and they look like very old portraits. I remember the snack in a pillowcase in my arms and let her out of the pillowcase just like I promised. She slithers up my body and hangs loosely around my shoulders like a scarf. Before anything else could happen I hear a screech coming from Yui in the next room over, I rush over to see a guy who looks my age, with red hair and green eyes pinning Yui down under him. I have absoluetly no words and turn my head away in disgust. I did not want to see this today, she looked like she was enjoy that. Gross.

"What's all the commotion down here?" a ravenette with pink- no almost red eyes, it feels like he's looking down on everyone in this room. The tomato head that has Yui under him glances up.

"Its Reiji" he growls, looks like Reiji is the rule keeper around here.

"Need I remind you that this is our entrance hall we use this area exclusively to recieve our guests, I must ask you to take your activities to your private room" Reiji scolds, he tomato head gets up and off of Yui. I zone out staring at Reiji, he looks regal almost. Or like a butler. Before my thoughts could go anywhere else Reiji leaves with Yui trailing behind him. I look down at Liánhuā who rubs against my face, I shrug and follow behind them. Walking a few paces behind them we enter a room with a chair and a few couches around a coffee table with another couch off to the side. I take a seat on the couch off to the side while Yui sits on one of the couches around the coffee table. Reiji stands next to her whilst Ayato occupys the seat across from her.

"Now for the sake of formality, let's begin why don't you tell us  why you came to enter this house" it seems more like a demand than a question, I decide to block them out and pay attention to Liánhuā instead. What feels like a minute or two passes and I feel a weight take its place on my lap, I look down and see a very pretty boy around Reiji's age from his looks. He opens his eyes and I see vast ocean blue staring up at me, I stare back at him. He breaks eye contact to roll over keeping his head in my lap to look over at the others, there's five of them surrounding Yui now.

"I wonder if these are the guests 'he' mentioned the other day" the one laying down on my lap speaks up. His voice is nice, I think Liánhuā agrees with me as she goes slightly down towards him. Looking around at the faces gathered in the room, theres a boy with white hair and red eyes that burn with anger, one wearing a fedora with the same hair colour as the first one we met, a small childlike figure with purple hair and purple eyes, Reiji keeping Yui from leaving the room, the original tomato head on his feet now trying to seem high and mighty and from what I just heard Shu the one in my lap, with blonde-orangey hair and ocean blue eyes. The purple haired one asks Shu if he knows anything.

"Maybe" is all Shu said closing his eyes and snuggling into me. This actions slightly irritates Liánhuā as I feel her put more of her weight back onto me. I lightly chuckle at her actions and begin petting her head as I feel her weight come off me slightly.

"Don't give me this maybe crap, I think we would all appreciate an explanation" irritation building in the high pitched voice. Shu sighs as he give the explanation the small one was asking for.

"It was that guy he contacted me a couple days ago he told me we'd have guests arriving from the church and that we should treat the girl wih respect but to do what we wanted with the boy" the others join as well saying things about 'bride', 'sacrifice' and 'long relationship' then Shu speaks up again.

"Oh yeah, he also said that we were explicitly told to not kill the girl" he turns back over and wraps his arms around my waist, I feel my face heat up and hear Shu give a chuckle. I turn back to the others seeing them starinng over here I'm guessing they've only just seen me. Reiji sighs and begins the introductions.

"As we have gathered there are no mistakes so lets begin the introductions"
