Waking up the next morning Thoma woke up by feeling cold, he was shivering practically so when he sits up still having his eyes closed he wraps the blankets more around himself. Opening his eyes, letting his eyes adjust to the light and everything around him he sees Ayato is gone. Perhaps because the other left he was missing his body heat and that is why he woke up. The other was a little upset he left but he just looks down at his leg knowing he cannot walk because if he would the wounds probably would tear open. Since Ayato has been taking care of him all week for him now to be gone this morning would make things a little harder for Thoma but he knows the other man cannot stay with him forever since work is very important for him.

Soon Ayaka enters the room looking down at Thoma with a smile on her face since Thoma looks adorable like this with the blanket wrapped around him, his hair all messy and visible still tired. "Good morning Thoma "she spoke and kneels down besides him placing a boba drink in his hands "Ayato wanted you to have this. He will be gone for work for a while...maybe a few days so i will be here to take care of things at the estate so i will be busy aswell. I asked around if somebody could help you but everybody seems to be busy"

Thoma gives her a nod to signal he understands why he left. He just takes a sip from the boba enjoying the sweet taste of it"even Itto is busy?"

"They ran out of money again so he has taken on multiple tasks again to help people. I will try and find somebody to help okay?" She spoke fixing some of Thoma his hair who leans a little into her touch closing his eyes again. Ayaka smiles but noticing something she takes hold of the boba and watches how Thoma fell back down on the sleeping matress having gone to sleep again. Ayaka chuckles and covers Thoma more with the blanket before she leaves the room.

It was a couple of hours later when Thoma awoke once more this time feeling much more energized but when he does wake up he is greeted by the beautiful face of Ayato who smiles down at him "you slept almost all day"

"How late is it then?" The man asks slowly sitting up with the help of the commissioner before he just leans against the other resting his head onto his shoulder. "I thought you would be away for a few days..."

The man smiles softly holding the other in his arms while resting his chin ontop of Thoma his head "i would yes. I received word that nobody was able to look after you so i returned home. Ayaka will take care of that business as i will work from here so that i can watch over you. " he whispers not seeing the use of speaking in a normal tone since they are sitting so close to eachother. "I have a gift for you"

Thoma listens and just relaxes in the other his touch "a gift? You dont have to-..." looking to the side he can see crutches standing there which made the joyfull tone falter into a unamused one "crutches? Hmm....i suppose i can walk around now" Thoma spoke trying to keep it positive but he was confused why Ayato is chuckling.

Ayato chuckles since that was not the gift as he found it funny how quickly Thoma his tone could change. "It is not that. " he spoke and hands Thoma a small velvet box.

Thoma feels something being pressed in his hand and at first he thought it was some furry creepy animal like a spider so he tossed the box in the air from reflex but seeing Ayato catch it, show him what it is he sees it was just a box causing him to let out a awkward chuckle "oh...a velvet box" he chuckles once more and takes it. Opening it he looks at it shocked before he quickly closes it and hands it back to Ayato "no-..."

"No?" Ayato asks raising a brow not seeming amused by his reaction

Thoma covers his face embarrassed since he was blushing a dark red "i- i love you...you know that a-and we talked about our future and all but wedding rings?! Ayato-..." he stops talking when Ayato pulls him close to him so that Thoma his face would be burried in his chest. "I thought you were saying that to reasure me...not to make it accually happen"
