Summary:

Klaus and Stefan are together been boyfriends for about 10 years. Hope is 7 in this oneshot she paints klaus and Stefan's nails

Stefan's pov:

Hope Klaus and I are having a dad day together I absolutely love these days we go out get very nice food, shopping, shell collecting at the beach and if it's raining we get all snuggled up on the couch watching movies, karaoke, fashion shows. Today is like that "dads I have an idea for what we can do today" Hope said grinning "what is it sweetheart" Klaus answered her "we should do our nails!" She said jumping up and down "yes let's do that" I said agreeing with Hope I look over to Klaus he looks like he is not very excited "hey what's the matter Klaus" I asked him "I don't wanna do my nails" he said I could read him like a book he doesn't like it "do you not like it" I said I need to get to the bottom of this "no no it's because when I was a kid Rebekah painted my nails with my paints and mikael didn't like that and gave me a beating" he said looking embarrassed "he's not here now baby but if you don't want to do it that's ok we understand" I said hugging him reassurance is all he needs right now "no I want to but it does bring up some stuff" Klaus said "I can be fast dad you won't even know I touched you hand and I can use my magic to dry them fast" Hope said looking at klaus trying to reassure him about this she knows what Mikael did him and it's so sweet of her to try and calm him. Klaus nods smiling at Hope "great what colours would you like" Hope asked getting her bag put filled with different colours of nail polish filled with like millions of bottles "mint green and baby blue please and if you can a white flower please" he said smiling he looks at meet I know this look to well the look he always gives when he wants to sit on my lap he is so adorable "would you like to sit on my lap babe" I asked him just to be sure and to see his face go bright red he nods doing his grabby hands I pull him on to my lap "pops can you move the chair closest to the table please" Hope asked I nod and move it in closer Klaus starts squirming around I can feel the tension in his body as Hope opened the nail polish bottles open and get the brush from the designs "hey it's ok baby he can't hurt you I got you" I said whispering into his ears I feel him nod. Hope quickly does Klaus's nails "aww thank you sweetheart they look gorgeous" Klaus said I could feel him smiling "Pops your turn the usual or something new" hope asked me "usual with flowers please" I responded I feel Klaus move around a lot like I know Klaus can be needy and clingy but this much but I can't complain because that means more cuddles and holding my baby

Klaus's pov:

I started to squirm wanting to say on Stefan's lap its comfortable "baby why are you squirming so much" Stefan whispers into my ear "I wanna stay on your lap" I said for someone who is 1000 years old I'm very clingy but I can't complain it means more cuddles "you can stay on my lap baby you just have to get up for just one second" he said I jumped up he got then picked me up "now wrap your legs around my waist" he told me I did he sat back down I hear him put his hands on the table the opening of the bottles. I started to feel really sleepy Stefan won't mind if I take a little nap he'll be happy that I will be well rested

Hope's pov:

I hear light snores as I do Pops nails I look up to see dad asleep I smile I think he must of go worked up that's fine but I should let Pops know "Pops dad's asleep by the way" I said he looks at dad then back at me he smiles and mouths thank you I nod and smile back and start doing his nails. 10 minutes later I finish dad still sleeping and snoring away "can we wake him up" I ask wanting to play the rope game I love it all you have to do is undo ropes with magic and see have many you can do in 5 minutes my highest recorded is 10 but I wanna beat that "yea of course hon" pops responded I walk over to dad and tickle him that's how Pops wakes him he bursts out giggling "that tickles!" He said laughing "dad can we play the magic rope game now" I said he nods I run to get the ropes and bringing them out to dad and pops they tie up the ropes quickly with their vampire speed they get the ropes ready we play for hours
