Brooklyn's POV~

I am in my room. Watching tv. Chilling with no makeup on at all. I'm not like some girls my age. I watch Cartoon Network & CBS, I wear gym pants, I do not wear really any makeup, stuff like that. I have been this way for my whole life. My mom would make me wear dresses sometimes for special occasions. I do not like wearing dresses! You have to be more careful that way nobody sees anything. I like wearing jeans better that skirts or dresses.
Hi my name is Brooklyn. Brooklyn Anderson. I am 14 years old and I am going to be a freshman next year in my first year of high school. It's summer time for me. I have two friends that I am very close with. Kate & Baylee. Kate and I have been friends since middle school! She is a fan of this band, One Direction. I am not a fan but their music is cool I guess. Baylee plays volleyball but she is an awesome friend! We all have sleepovers, have parties, and other fun stuff.
I have one older sister but I do not have any other sisters or any brothers. I also have my parents. Which they can be very funny at times. My sister and I never really get into any trouble. We are good girls. At school, though, I can be very quiet because I do not want to get into any trouble. That's why people are very surprised that whenever I speak or talk a lot at times.
I do not have a boyfriend & I never had one either. For some reason, there are it that many guys that I think that are cute or good looking. I am different but I think that one day things will turn out okay for me. I just don't know when that will be.
I like to read & draw. Reading fiction is a lot of fun because if you write a fictional story, then you can use your creativity to make a good story that everyone will love. Drawing is an escape for me. I took Art as an elective in 7th Grade & it was a lot of fun! I have been drawing ever since I can remember. I am very good at it and I want to use that talent to get me a successful career in the future. It's very interesting to me for some reason.
I got a text from Baylee saying:

"Hey! Can we have a sleepover at your house? Next Friday? Let me know soon."

I asked my mom and she said yes.

"Yes! My mom said that we can have a sleepover here at my house."
"Good! I have a surprise for you!"
"Cool! See you Friday!"
"K Bye!"

I went downstairs to eat supper. I just ate a chicken wrap with a water to drink. I'm trying to stay a little on the healthy side. I'm not trying to loose weight. I just want to be healthy but when I'm on my period, I will eat chocolate and sweets. I guess you could understand that. Right? I went back upstairs to get into some pajamas. I went to the bathroom to do my face wash & brush my teeth. Then I went back to my room and watched NCIS: New Orleans. (I've just been obsessed with the show.) I am watching the season finale to the 1st season. I am obsessed with it.
I stayed up afterwards and watched YouTube videos. I suddenly saw a link to a One Direction video. I was bored so I decided to watch it.

One Direction Plays Dodgeball

I watched it and it was hilarious!! I laughed so hard!! I just kept on watching videos of them. Their video diaries, music videos, interview, funny moments, etc. Before I knew it, it was 1:30 in the morning on May 20th & I became a fan!! 😱
