Note: Okay, so the Super Carlin Brothers(a YouTube channel) did something like this and I had to type it up. So basically, Dumbledore didn't have his hand cursed in the sixth book and Snape died in that same book. Set in seventh book after Voldemort *tried* to kill Harry.

"Professor?" Harry asked, walking into Dumbledore's office.

"Harry, did you do it?" Dumbledore queried, "Did Voldemort kill you?"

"No Proffesor," Harry replied sadly, "My wand did something...unusual. It's like it felt Voldemort's presence. It attacked Nagini and Voldemort. Nagini's dead and Voldemort has no body." He paused, "Proffesor, does that mean that I'm the only horcruxe Voldemort has left? Am I keeping him alive?"

Dumbledore didn't respond right away, but eventually said, "Yes, Harry, I'm afraid so. Now I'll give you a choice. You can either have me kill you, or you can die a natural death. In case you choose a natural death, I should warn you that Voldemort could rise back to power in that scenario." Even though his voice was calm, tears were in his eyes.

"If you kill me, Voldemort's gone...forever?" Harry asked.

"Yes," Dumbledore replied sadly, already knowing what his answer would be.

"Then kill me..." Harry said, almost immediately. There was no hesitation in his eyes or voice.

"So much like your parents," Dumbledore sighed. "I'm so sorry Harry."

Dumbledore took his wand from a draw and pointed it at Harry. Tears were now spilling down his face.

"Do it," Harry urged.

"A-Avada Kedavra."

And so, the Boy Who Lived died, at the hands of his headmaster, for the good of the entire Wizarding world. It is true what Dumbledore said, Harry was so like his parents in many different ways.

Many might say this is a sad ending, but it's far from it. Voldemort is dead, the Death Eaters are captured. And Harry is finally reunited with his family.
