After a long weekend, Kalani was getting ready for school. She and David got ready quickly and left earlier than usual, only because she decided to eat her egg sandwich in the car that day. She arrived to school late, David and her got stuck in traffic for twenty minutes with what is usually a ten minute drive. Nonetheless, Chase walked up to her right after she received her progress report to inquire about her grades. He grabbed her report card and started reading the grades aloud, becoming more distressed as he went through the report. "A+...A+...A+...A+...A+...A+..."

After he finished reading the report card he slammed it back into her hands. "How did you get an A+ in Homec?"

"My sweets from home assignment went pretty well. Brought some stuff from the restaurant?"

"Isn't that cheating?"

"No..no...no. That's called playing to my strengths. I live at a restaurant ergo it counted with her. Plus, she liked them too much to protest."

"No fair."

"Was it really all A+'s?"

Chase looked down and nodded. Kalani was overjoyed and took a picture of it to brag to her dads. Chase walked away from her and she went over to her locker. At her locker, she heard Chase talk loudly about "regaining his superiority" causing Kalani to roll her eyes. Once the bell rang, she went to her first class.

The following day, Bree walked up with her brothers, Adam and Leo, to ask about an assignment for algebra she was having trouble with. Kalani wasn't in algebra, but Bree figured that she would be able to help her, since she was in a higher math. Kalani was explaining the solution to Bree while Adam and Leo had an all-out thumb wrestling match on the side. At one point, Chase comes up to the foursome, handing them all a business card. "Hey! What do you think?"

Leo sarcastically replies. "What do I think, or what's appropriate to say to your face?"

Kalani is rolling her eyes at what she feels is a lame slogan. "Chase the Dream?"

Bree piped in to respond as well. "Please do not give these to anyone I might want to become friends with."

"I've got a whole plan. Check it out. I even linked the latest facial recognition software to the school database to create a laser automated attendance system."

A robotic version of Chase's voice filled the hallway. "Andrew Lamb has been late three days in a row." The poor guy was dragged to the principal office by a security guard. "Straight to the principal's office, Andy. He'll thank me later for putting him on the right path."

Adam tries to give his brother advice. "Oh, dude, you're never gonna win with that. Kids want fun stuff like jacuzzis in math class and hallways paved with candy. Ooh, and I also think biology would be a lot more fun if we could juggle the frogs before we dissected them."

"That's frog abuse."

"Fine we'll do it after, but it's gonna get messy."

Later on the day, Kalani grabs a burger from Chase's cart, hoping to utilize a campaign of two rich kids battling and get some free stuff out of it. Kalani did not end up voting, she didn't really care about the election and she didn't want either brother getting mad for any vote she casted. Eventually, it was announced that Chase and Adam actually tied, but the next day it was determined that Adam won.
