Why are boys so confusing? -Part 2 the dance

(Don't worry you doesn't miss much in the wee leading to the dance he sat with me at lunch and we talked in the hall and in ela but no one could seam to figure out that we weren't dating we were just going to the dance together)

So any way I was at the dance with mikayla joe walked by but she wouldn't talk to him like normal ok let's just skip to the good part so it has been like one hour and Matt just kept fallowing me around like a lost puppy then he went some where when he came back he was with eathen (not Kaylees boyfriend but joes best friend) eathen asked me out for Matt I didn't know what to say so I practically ran over my best friend on crutches(Kaylee) and out one of the doors we went back in the gym and talked to mr.Howard then I saw Matt so I ran to the pole barn and founded mikayla I had to give her piggyback into the school because she dude that have her shoes on when we got in their I avoided Matt for like twenty minutes but finely figured out what to say when he came over he said hey
"Ok Matthew you never and i mean never pressure a girl to go out with you because it fucking sucks" I say
"Jillian I'm so sorry eathen did that I dident want him to say that to you like that I dident want him to say anything i wanted to ask you when we're slow dancing but that dident happen I'm I'm so so so sorry about that" oh my golly goshness if this was a movie i would have kissed him there but it wasn't it was real life so I said "Matthew I want to go out with you" I glans at Kaylee who I just remembered is standing there "tell him" she whispers so I do
"but you have to promise me one thing"
"Ok" he says
"If and when we break up we have to stay friends ok"
He smiles "ok" then as if perfect timing a slow song starts to play so me and Matt start to slow dance along with kaylee and eathen also mikayla and Joe me and matts first slow dance was to "thanking out loud by Ed Sheehan" (the rest of the night was anticlimactic I slow danced to one more song "I won't give up by Jason marz" and Joe kissed mikayla on (well after the dance when I went home so I didn't see but Matt did)
