I quickly walked away and thought to myself not again. It is the first day of high school I've already had many people ask about Lara or Peter. Or worse, both!

After hours of school Peter and Lara come to pick me up.
"Kitty! Get in here!" Peter called out for me
"Coming!"
Breathlessly Lilian yells "Wait for me!"
Lara opens the back doors and we jump in.
Peter chimes in "how was your first day in high school?!"
Lilian squeals. "Amazing!!"
"It was alright."

Thankfully we arrived home rather quickly. I grabbed my bag and ran into the house. "Dad! I'm going to the diner with Lilian!"
"Okay sweetie! Don't forgot money!"
Without any hesitation I threw my bag down, grabbed my wallet and ran back out. "Lillian get your bike we are going to the diner"
"Okay!" She jumped on her bike and we headed that way
"Woah" I mumbled
"Hm?"
"Hun, he's wow."
"You ain't wrong there."
