"What just happened." Nando was confused.
"Nothing." I shrugged it off.

Needless to say, the rest of the car drive was very awkward.
"I would suggest leaving the car here, Nando." I told him, pointing into a side street.
He does as told and we all get out. I can feel Antoine's eyes on me.

I can not believe it was him all along that texted me. I felt a sense of embarassment but so much anger because he did not tell me.

"Look, here is London Bridge, if we cross it we can go to the Shard, which is one of the tallest buildings in Europe and it's made out of glass." they both nodded and just followed me.
I kept my distance towards Antoine and he seemed to do the same since Nando always walked between us two.

"Okay honestly, what is going on with you two?" he said stopping midway.
I rolled my eyes, I really did not want to talk about it right now.
I heard Antoine sigh.
I just continued walking.

"Don't be this way Lilac."
"What way am I being Anto, tell me." I stopped and turned to look at him.
"Everything was a lie."

"No it wasn't. Everything was true, expect you didn't know who I was."
"That's a pretty big part isn't it." I need to stop looking into his eyes or else I will get distracted.
"If I would've known that we would've met regardless I would've never texted you through my burner account."
"Are you hearing yourself right now?" I said in disbelief.
"Lilac I-"

"Is that why you were mad at me?" We both turned to look at Nando and it went deadly quiet.
Then it all clicked. He was talking about me the whole time?
Antoine was talking about me?
His eyes were wide open. "I can't. No?" He looked to the ground and it sounded more like a question. Nando and I look at eachother.
"Anto be honest with me please." Nando said.
"You are so wrong for that." I said and did continue walking, like I had planned before.

"I hope you are embarassed."

I ignored him for the rest of the day or should I say kept conversation very minimal. After visiting most tourist attractions we decided to head back to the car. I felt bad for Nando because he was in the middle of this. Sometimes he stuck with me, sometimes with Antoine.

"Uhm, thanks." I looked at Antoine confused as he opened the passenger door for me.

I did not want to give in. He realised that I had read the text already.

lepetitdiable7: You are the most beautiful person I have ever laid eyes on. I immediately got scared because I started to feel things and we barely know eachother.

He is crazy. This text did flatter me but I can not trust him.

I had hoped that Nando and Antoine have talked about this during the day and that they can go back to being normal again. I refreshed my instagram feed and Antoine had just uploaded a picture.

Mentally I was rolling my eyes at Antoine, why is he commenting on my post, now everyone is going to believe that we are actually dating.
