(Friday 18th May 2015)

Luke woke up groggily, staggering out of his bed, he checked his phone he had one message from Blake, eight years on and they were still good friends mainly because they lived near each other. The message said 'Omg dude have you heard about Connor?!'. As soon as look read it he knew it was going to be bad. He quickly opened Google and searched 'Connor Ridley' he then opened up a news report.

Connor Ridley died last night, his death was approximated between 7:30- 8:00pm. Police found his body floating in the public pool. When the body was removed from the pool there was a large cut to his head suggesting he was hit in the head with something. Police officer McCormack states "this had to be an accident, I believe that the pool net must of fallen on him making him unstable, he then must of fallen in the pool hitting his head on the side". The only piece of evidence found was a card board box with the date 21/5/07.

"That was the day that Clyde..." Blake messaged as if he knew what Luke was thinking.

"It could be a coincidence?" Luke responded

"We better be careful, want to meet up later? 8:00? At the Red Dragon bar?"

"Sure, safer in numbers, cya then"

When Luke got there Blake was sitting with Asher, "Asher! It's been too long" he said as he saw them. Luke sat down ordering a drink, "well I best be off sorry I can't stay" Asher said, "Yeah that's fine we should catch up properly" Luke said as Asher was heading out. "Yeah" Asher said unconvincingly "That is if I see you again" Asher said under his breath so Luke and Blake didn't hear.

Luke and Blake spent a while at the bar, it was 9:40 by the time they decided to leave, "You want to call a taxi?" Luke said to Blake as they walked down the path. "Nah, my place is near here so you can crash there if you want" Blake said, "Cool" Luke said simply. It was getting late "Are we lost" Luke finally asked. "Nah mate we just need to go down this back road. Most of the street lights weren't working. The one that did work was flickering. Luke and Blake staggered across the road to get to his apartment. However the revving of an engine alarmed them. The headlights flied on. The car sped down the road. Luke moved out of the line of the car but Blake was unmoving stuck by shock. The full moon illuminated the road. The car showed no sign of slowing. The car slammed into the two them, and they were both injured but not dead. The car swerved back to finish the job, "Déjà vu!?" a dark voice called out, their bodies lay lifeless the blood pooled around them, making the tarmac glisten.
