Nash's POV

"I'm not going to the park again." I strictly told my mom.

My mom huffed, "It's only your imagination! You have been spending too much time inside watching movies. Go outside and take Skylynn to the park!" I get that my mom was mad because I wasn't listening. But she doesn't get I saw something. That girl, it wasn't human.

"Mom please I'll take Skylynn anywhere but the park!" I tried compromising.

"I worry about you," My mom said under hear breath. I cocked up an eyebrow as she noticed I heard. "I mean, okay go. Go get ice cream or something." She waved me off handing me a ten dollar bill.

I saluted my mom as she laughed at my gesture. I walked to the living room where Skylynn was watching Frozen, her favorite movie.

I slowly walked in front of the TV. "Nash! This is my favorite part where Elsa makes the snow castle!"

"What's more important; Elsa making a snow castle or ice cream?" I cocked an eyebrow with a smirk. Sky can't resist ice cream.

"Fine," She huffed with a small smile. "Ice cream!" She cheered jumping off the couch.

I grabbed her sandals by the door. I passed them to her then grabbed my keys, grabbing Sky's little hand walking out the door. I got her situated in her car seat. Then I started my adventure to the ice cream parlor. The closest one was 10 to 15 minutes give or take. But the ride let me clear my mind as Sky took a mini nap in the back.

I'm not mistaking, what I saw yesterday was no imagination. The things black eyes buried into my soul as blood came from her eyes. I'm not crazy, let me just say that. I suppose that does sound crazy about what I saw but I swear.

Shivers crept up from her words. "Be on the lookout, I'll be watching you every moment." What does that mean? Was that thing even human? It looked like a girl but only God knows what it was.

I pulled up to the ice cream parlor minutes later. I parked the car, turning it off. I turned around to tell Sky we are here but she was fast asleep.

"Sky." I whispered shaking her lightly. "Ice cream!" I sang quietly. However she didn't wake up, deep in sleep as always.

I groaned internally, so this trip was for nothing? I wiped at my eyes deciding to just get ice cream to go. But I can't just leave Skylynn alone in here. Why can't this place have a drive through?

I rested my hands on the steering wheel. I'll just run right it, get the ice cream, and go. I'll lock the car. I'll even lock it multiple times to ensure it's locked. Making up my mind I exit the car locking the car not once, not twice, nope not three times, but four. It's locked for sure.

I was met with a cool breeze once I walked into the freezing ice cream parlor. There was a mini line and I already regretted leaving Sky in the car. But I'm already here so I might as well get her something and myself.

Five minutes later I payed for the two vanilla cones then made my way to the car. I unlocked it sliding into the front seat. It was very hard to do considering I had two cones in my hands but I made do. I sat down getting myself situated when I turned to check on Skylynn. She wasn't there.

My heart stopped as I looked on the ground. Maybe she fell out of her seat? She couldn't have she was buckled in! I quickly put the ice cream cones on the passengers seat causing the ice cream to rub against the cloth. But that was the least of my concerns. Getting out of the car I opened the back door. I crawled around the car looking for Sky as I called her name, but she wasn't there.

Tears brimmed in my eyes. My mom is going to fucking kill me! Oh my god I hate myself. How could I leave my four year old sister in a car by herself! Someone had to have break into the car to get to her. What does someone want with a little girl!?

I shakily pulled out my phone to call my mom. I wiped at my I know bloodshot eyes as it started ringing. "Hello?" My mom answered.

"Mom I-"

"What's wrong? You don't sound okay." My mom asked me. My voice was wavering and thick. I bit my lip to prevent tears.

I sniffled. "I-"

"Excuse me?" A voice said in front of me.

My head shot up from the pavement I was staring at. The first thing I saw was Skylynn in a girl's arms. I sighed in relief.

"Nash what happened?!" My mom sounded frantic. "What are you crying?"

"I, uhm, stubbed my toe and it hurt like shit."

"First off, language! And second off why in the world did you call me about that?"

"I thought I broke it. Oh look it's moving got to go!" I hung up still staring at my sister. "Skylynn!" I cheered grabbing her from the girl.

I kissed her on the cheek, "Where did you go?"

Expecting a response from Sky I got one from the girl I forgot was there. "I saw her wondering around the benches over there. She was going to walk into the street but I grabbed her in time."

I finally looked at the girl who found my sister. Once I saw her face my face went pale. It was her. I shielded my sister from the monster in front of me.

"No thank you?" She asked.

"Who and what the heck are you?" I asked.

"Excuse me?" She asked. She had an innocent face on, her eyes were normal but I knew it was her. Same brown long hair and freckles. Her eyes right now we're a greenish-blue but she couldn't fool me.

"You think I'm stupid? You're the girl from the park!" I sound crazy, I sound absolutely crazy right now. But she probably was the one to take my sister. Skylynn knows better than to get out of the car and almost run out into the street.

She titled her head to the side as a frown set on her face. "I'm sorry, I'm not sure what your talking about. Are you okay?" She stepped to me.

"Did you take her from my car?" I asked harshly taking a step back.

"What? Of course not! Are you okay?"

"So what you mean to tell me is you have no idea who I am?"

"No, should I?" Her face was beyond confused and I felt stupid. I have been so on edge since the park thing that happened almost a week ago. This poor girl probably things I'm psycho.

I shook my head looking down, ashamed for my behavior. "I'm sorry, I just was still panicked about my sister running off. Uhm, I'm Nash." I stuck out my hand.

She shook it gently with a soft smile. "I'm Luna."
