H A R R Y
We had no idea how to survive this place. We had nothing with us and we'd robbed a lot and people could mostly recognize us from stealing their foods, clothes and other stuffs. I also thought that it was a bit dangerous for Ice not being used to this kind of job.
"Have you planned anything already Harry?" Ice asked behind, yawning then resting her head against the brick wall.
It was a warm sunny day, fortunately. Being homeless for a day was not that a new thing for me, but I didn't know how to this girl. It seemed that she grew up in a really powerful and prosperous middle-class family. From her diamond coated stilettos that shimmered whenever the sunlight hit them, to her extravagant dress that both looked cost a million pounds, though it never crossed my mind to steal those stuffs from her. Although she looked like very sumptuous, her appearance and behaviour showed the opposites. She never acted like she was raised being a superior or sophisticated person, in fact she was really simple and yet very down to earth.
"Yeah, actually I think we're not safe here especially that people are searching for us for stealing." I chuckled as she stifled a laugh.
"You taught me that!" She protested.
"You had no choice, hadn't you?" I asked and she hummed.
"Yeah you're right." She shrugged.
Another thing that I was afraid to see her give up. My life was not as simple and typical as the others'. I was more prone to accident and trouble and I couldn't just let her get involved with it. If I was going to be real to myself, most of the times it was really a pain in the arse to work with her. Things became harder for me when she'd come in my life, but I didn't know this thing that I've been feeling whenever she was with me. I meant that was really strange and I couldn't explain it but I felt it somehow safe or protected around her, not physically protected but she gave me strength and it was really unexplainable.
"Ice." I whispered as she looked up at me, raising an eyebrow. "I have a plan." I smirked and a smile flashed on her face. I looked at her eyes and I saw them looking down at my lips then back to my eyes. We were both smiling at each other, feeling that we were thinking the same plan.
"Want some ride?" I asked, smirking as she chuckled loudly.
"Where are we going though?" She asked. She honestly looked so stupid with a wedding gown that was ripped shorter up to her knees with a plain black shirt, but it was cute and she didn't mind anyways.
"You're ready?" I asked.
"I'm always ready." She replied quickly.
We really needed to move somewhere before we can get caught. Earlier this morning, I had to steal a piece of bread in a bakery, but I ended up getting the whole pack of a loaf bread because I remembered Ice wasn't use to starve herself. So instead of buying tickets for train, we could use it for food instead or for something more essential.
"Harry, we could sell this piece of diamond from my dress." She pulled up her shirt, revealing the small diamond that was securely attached on to the center of her dress. I slowly leaned closer to check if it was real as my eyes widened in surprised.
"It's real." I said, gazing in awe as my eyes never left her dress. "What do you wanna do with that?" I asked.
"Sell it? I don't care. I just need money now to survive." She said with a serious face.
