Nevermore no longer feels the same after the incident. Wednesday Addams who have always been gloomy is now acting slightly different. The girl who can kill you with just her looks appear to be even more unapproachable these days. It might be ridiculous for others to think that Principal Weem’s death affected her, but that might just be the case for this young girl. Enid Sinclair whose smile makes you see rainbows and sparkles now seems like she’s the definition of slow pouring rain. Nevermore, a school for fascinating creatures, a place that Larissa cherish deeply, or rather cherished and wanted to protect till her last breath is now mourning their beloved headmistress’s passing.

“Wednesday.” Morticia Addams who has arrived to the place where a lot of memories she holds dear happened called her daughter with concerned and loving look. The young girl looked at the direction where she has heard her mother.
“You made it. If I weren’t at the scene, I will not be surprised to find out that you have killed her. Given the fact that she abhors your presence.” The teen greeted her mother with her usual attitude.
“Such kind words. Oh, I have missed you, darling.” Morticia replied with a blue smile on her face,  the smile that was given is not an unknown expression but quite a rare one which didn’t slip away from Wednesday’s stare. “What will happen now?” Her daughter asked, disregarding what she noticed for now. “Well, I suppose I’ll visit her grave and take my time enjoying the sensation of death.” She answered with an upset tone.  The true emotions of Wednesday’s mother are hidden most of the time and only those dear to her will notice a change in her attitude. Morticia definitely wasn’t going to enjoy her best friend’s passing. However, the woman will never allow anyone to see her fall apart except for her loving husband and the now dead, Larissa.

“Cara Mia, shall I accompany you in visiting Larissa?” Gomez has surprised both his wife and daughter with his sudden arrival. They did not even take notice of him joining the small conversation until he spoke. “Sweetheart, you’ve startled me.” The beautiful woman put her head on her husband’s shoulder with the aim of being affectionate. “But no, may I go alone?” She continued, answering the question with pleading eyes which her husband could not turn down. “Why of course you can, my love. I know how much enjoyable death is when it’s so close to you.” Gomez gave her a wide smile along with wiggling his eyebrows. Though Morticia just hummed and did not return the energy. Wednesday, the smart teen still hasn’t turned away her stare from the woman. She has suspicions about her mother but it’s best to not confront her as of the moment. Even though the young girl finds joy in suffering, she still respects what is going on as of the moment which is the death of the principal. “Before you two start to create more loathsome gestures with each other, I believe you, Mother, should get going.” Wednesday spoke up with a not so subtle face of disgust. “Yes, of course. I suppose you’re right. I’ll get going now, my dears.” With that being said, Morticia blew a kiss to her husband and daughter before leaving them both. Morticia may not admit it, but it’s obvious that she wants to reach Larissa quickly.

The black haired woman has now arrived to where her best friend lies. “Oh, Rissa. How come you have joined the devils without me?” Morticia started. She had longed for a conversation with the blonde woman for years and now that she finally got the chance, it was too late. “I probably won’t stay for too long, you know? We’re too old to be pulling pranks on each other so, if you’re alive, oh how I wish you’re alive, now is your chance to face me. You’ve hated me for the past years, don’t you want to hurt me now? I’m here. Though it took me long to get back to you.” She looked up at the azure sky while tears started to form from her dark eyes. She remembers how it felt to stare at Larissa’s face. That woman’s eyes are as blue as the sea, her smile being always so radiant and Morticia most definitely enjoyed it. “Hey, Rissa? Do you think if I weren’t so much of a coward, I could’ve loved you and chose to be with you?” She started again, this time her voice sounds weak. “I remember when you have asked me to the dance. I... I chose Gomez. I don’t regret it, I love my husband. Larissa, that same night, I know I have lost you. You’ve asked to switch rooms, you couldn’t stand being near me so I stopped trying to get you back. I apologize, Mon Cherie. For I have took away your sweet, such sweet smile and replaced it with sorrows and suffering. I’m sorry.” The woman’s voice cracked near the end. Morticia has been trying to stop more of her tears by biting her lips. She can’t control how much Larissa’s death is hurting her so, she took a step back and closed her eyes only to find the blonde woman’s face in her mind. Once she opened her eyes, the sudden urge to go back to Nevermore came. She stood up to leave, but before doing so, she offered a rose to Larissa’s grave. “You and I, we were special, Rissa. If only we could’ve done things differently so no one will be hurt by the other.” With that, Morticia turned around and went back.
