Elena woke up to the sound of people moving all around the first story of her house, and heard more voices than usual. She sat up in her bed and looked on either side of her, Caroline on the right and Bonnie on the left; just how they left each other the night before. Caroline and Bonnie were Elena's two best friends. When she listened in more closely to the voices downstairs, she could make out Damon, Stefan, and the usual Jeremy and Alaric. Elena got a suspicious feeling because none of them were supposed to be there, at her house. Being still half asleep, she didn't think into the idea of them being there to much, and threw herself back onto the pillows. Before she shut her eyes, she glanced at the clock sitting on the dresser, only to realize it was four o'clock in the morning.

"What in the world are they doing?" Elena whispered to herself in regards to the guys who are doing god knows what downstairs. Elena struggled to get comfortable again and she was starting to get annoyed really fast. Her not so quiet rustling as she tried to fall back asleep woke bonnie up. Elena finally gave up on getting comfortable again, and plopped herself on her back, sending a puff of air in either direction towards the other girls. Bonnie situated herself on her back too, mimicking Elena's loud and frustrated gesture.

"Hey!" Bonnie said in a sleepy, almost whispering groan.

"Ugh...what the heck are they even doing down there. Don't they know that we are up here trying to sleep!?" Elena spit out, obviously annoyed and fed up with the noise that the guys were causing.

"Hey, don't start your morning off with a bad attitude." Bonnie suggested.

"Bonnie, its only four in the morning...I'm going back to sleep. You should too." Elena said, trying not to sound annoyed. She shifted her body so she was laying on her side, facing Caroline, who was sleeping like a baby.

"Elena is everything okay with you?" Bonnie genuinely asked. Elena let out a quiet sigh, to quiet for bonnie to pick up, and slightly tilted her chin up to give a simple answer.

"Yep. Everything is fine, I'm just tired."

With that said and done, Bonnie fell right into a deep slumber.

Elena curled up into the soft blankets of her bed. The truth was that she wasn't okay. The real reason why she had even woken up in the first place was because she was having another one of her frequent dreams. The dreams where Damon would show up and weird crap would happen; Each dream Damon got a little closer to her. Damon and herself were in an awkward friendship zone at the moment. Stefan and Elena have recently ended things between each other, but thankfully left things on good terms. Elena, and everyone for that matter, knew about Damon's feelings toward Elena. Hence the weird relationship they currently are in. Right now, their relationship is more like brother and sister than anything else.

Elena let her mind wonder for a little while before drifting back into a light sleep, finally able to get some peace.

Meanwhile downstairs...........

All the guys were on a mission. Get everything completely ready before the girls wake up, without waking them up. The guys were planning a camping trip for all of them, that the girls didn't know about yet, and knowing the girls, it would be better for everybody if they were ready to leave when they did find out. They, as quietly as possible, got everything ready and were done around six o' clock. All the guys filled the family room and drifted to sleep except for Damon. He listened in upstairs with his vampire hearing, for any movement or voices, but all he heard were three beautiful heartbeats and steady breathing. At last, Damon fell asleep too, and all nine people slept collected and peacefully.
