Chapter 1: Sister's spoken nonsense

Jeremy moves in the direction of a pristine, white and gold hall where the decorations and paintings have been expertly positioned on the walls. Then Jeremy came to a stop in front of a huge door, stood there, took a deep breath, and opened it. As he did so, a woman with long blonde hair and ruby-like eyes smiled sweetly at him, saying, "Jeremy, you have finally arrived." "Sister, I have missed you," Jeremy responded, grinning brightly.

The stepsister of the head of the Agriche household, Roxanna Agriche-or Roxana Pedelian, as I should have said-was there. When they were still living in that hellhole of a house, the duke held Roxanne in the highest regard since she was the only thing that could make him happy.

After a little awkward quiet between them, Roxanna saw that the room had returned to normal. Jeremy may have just been relieved to have his sister by his side even though they weren't conversing, but we don't know.

Jeremy then caught Roxanna's attention. Roxanna chuckled to lighten the mood. "So Jeremy, have you ever thought of having a lover?" Jeremy didn't seem to talk about it as a joke as he looked at Roxanna startlingly. He was shocked at what Roxanna had just said. "Sister, what do you mean? You know I think that love is a waste of time," Jeremy said. Roxanna was shocked to think that her brother would be so insistent about

"But you know," Roxanna continued as Jeremy listened to her quietly, "I'm not forcing you to have a lover but also trying to have one ain't a bad idea, I also thought that it was a waste of time back then but I was wrong, and who knows you might also actually find someone to make you maybe ten times as much as I do, but it's up to you, after all, it's your life.
