chapter 2 ✰Business trip✰

~California~

That evening after dinner, Joyce went to her room to change. Like every evening, she was wearing Hopper's old shirt and long jogging pants. She went out of her room and put on a thin jacket and took a box of cigarettes, but they weren't the actual cigarettes that Joyce usually smokes, but hoppers, meanwhile she's gotten used to them being so strong. Joyce missed Hopper a lot, and it wasn't until they stood in front of the portal that she realized how much she actually loved him. Only when Hopper stood behind that "ray". She lost her best friend or the love of her life? A few tears spilled down Joyce's cheeks. she just wanted him to be there with her, hug her and comfort her. She hoped what murray said that hoppers ain't alive was true.

Joyce: Why hoppers? why didn't you go to safety somewhere?.. Why did the 2 meter tall psycho have to appear of all things??

More tears spilled down Joyce's cheeks like a waterfall

Joyce:  We still had that date ahead of us?..

Joyce went back into her house until Jane stood in front of her.

Jane: with whom did you speak? And why did you cry?

Joyce: Oh, I was just talking to myself, and I just missed your dad for a little bit, sweetheart, but everything's fine now, trust me

Jane: you love my dad don't you? so how i love mike

Joyce:  Love is a strong word sweetheart but yes I loved your dad.. I still love him and will always do so until the day I die..

Jane: Do you think he's still alive? i heard you this morning and i know it wasn't an old friend it was murray and you guys were talking dad and murray said he was alive but in russia.

Joyce: I Hope he's still alive..

~The next Morning~
Joyce waited until Murray finally came. The doorbell rang and Joyce jumped up and ran to the door and it was Murray with a huge suitcase, joyce greeted Murray and the two went to the couch to come up with a plan which wasn't easy

Murray:  So joyce, how do you want to free Hopper from russia mh?

Joyce: We fly there,pretend to be guards and free him?

Murray: Do you think it's that easy?? We could die or we could hopper around or something!

Joyce: Well jane can help us?

Murray: But.. she no longer has her powers?

Joyce: I think she has her powers back. I mean she heard us on the phone.

Murray: So what? Everyone could probably have heard us?

Joyce: Right.. But then i think i have an idea!

Murray: Which idea??

Joyce told Murray the plan and, for once, Murray agreed. The day passed quickly again and everyone sat at the dining table

Joyce: Children I have to tell you something!

Jonathan: What then?

Joyce: I have a Business Trip in Alaska  tomorrow!

Will&Jonathan: What??? In Alaska?

Joyce: Yes in Alaska, so Jonathan will Take Care of you!

Jane just stayed silent the whole time and acted like she didn't know anything about it.

~Russia~

Hopper and Dimitri stood on a corner and talked about this plan.

Dimitri: Did you understand everything Americans?

Hopper: Yes, I break my pickaxe and go to. storage room, cam that guy out there and somehow escape out of that little window and go to a warehouse which is actually a church and wait for Joy-

Dimitri: Your Woman and your weird friend

Hopper: joyce. is. Not. my. Woman.

Dimitri: yeah, now go and do the plan then you'll be out of here quicker and can make out with your joyce/woman

Hopper just rolls his eyes in annoyance and pretends to break his pickaxe, when he did it only a few people gave him very confused looks
