The morning for Y/n's and Ash's gym battles has come.
Ash: Yes! It's time!
Y/n: Yep! Time to take the next step to reaching a half of my dream.
Dawn: Best of luck today you two.
Zoey: I bet the Candace doesn't want you to lose and neither do I.
Y/n and Ash: Thanks!
Zoey: Also can't wait to see what kind of battle it's going to be.
Ash was going up first.
Dawn: Wow. Awesome. I've never seen a gym battle on a field made of ice!
Y/n: That's Candace's style for sure.
Zoey: So I wonder what Ash's strategy is going to be against Miss Senior. Hold my hand.
Y/n: Okay.
Candace: I'm winning this for you Y/n my darling!
Y/n: Okay. But watch out! Ash is tough!
10 minutes later Candace got her Pokémon healed.
Candace: Okay Y/n I'm ready.
Y/n: I am too!
Ref: Same rules as first match. Ready go!
Candace: Go Sneasel.
Y/n: Alright Ambipom let's do this!
Candace's Thoughts: Why isn't he using one of his legendary catches?
Y/n's Thoughts: She's falling for it.
Y/n: Use Fire punch!
Candace: Skate to dodge!
The Sneasel dodged successfully, but Y/n smiled.
Y/n: Use focus punch and throw a piece of ice at it!
The piece of ice hit very hard to render Sneasel unable to walk.
Y/n: Finish it with counter!
Candace: Use ice beam!
The attack missed Ambipom as it just continued to charge at Sneasel which knocked it out.
Ref: Sneasel is unable to battle. Ambipom is the winner!
Candace: Oh. Just what I'd expect from my best friend! Now go Medicham!
Y/n and Candace: Use counter!
The attacks both collided against each other and caused damage to both sides.
Y/n: Let's show em the results of our training! Use Acrobatics!
Everyone: No way!!
The flying type move collides with Medicham knocking it out too.
Ref: Medicham is unable to battle. Ambipom is the winner!
Candace felt she was in a tight spot.
Candace: That's incredible!
Y/n: Yep. And with our super intense training I boosted my Pokémon's memory so they can know more than 4 moves!
Candace: Snover let's go!
