Ch 4: Suprise

"Alright Jess do you wanna walk around first?", I thought for a moment, "Yes".

Jasper nodded and held my hand, "lead the birthday princess", Jasper said. "Ew" I said chuckling lightly.

After about 20 minutes of walking we decided it was time to eat.

"Alright princess what do you wanna eat?", "Im not sure" I said scanning the menu. "Wait I think ill have the soup" I said pointing to it on the menu. As I told him what I wanted the waitress walked up. "Hey my name is Sally and Ill be your waitress for today, what would you like sir?" I noticed she said it in more of a flirty tone leaning down and pressing her chest against him. I don't know why but I felt kinda jealous. "Excuse me please don't talk to my boyfriend like that.", "Oh, im sorry I didn't know"

After that she took both of our oders and went along. "So im your boyfriend?" Jasper said smirking at me. I smiled and said "No." All Jasper did was laugh softly. 

"Wow, that was good." Jasper said rubbing his stomach with his hands in a circular motion. And then he went quiet for a moment. "I knew it was your birthday yesterday and so I got you a gift" , "Jasper you didn't have to." Jasper just laughed and said "Yes I did."

He pulled out a small black box and slid it towards me. I opened it to find a beautiful heart necklace with a snake wrapped around it. It was so pretty. " Jasper, I love it, its so beautiful." "I thought you would like it, it seems like your style." He said smiling. As we stood up to leave I gave him a hug, "Thank you Jasper." I said hugging him tightly.

We made it back to Jasper's house, and I helped him clean up a little before laying on the sofa watching TV. "Oo what are you watching?" He said in a happy tone. Walking up to the sofa, lifting my legs up and sitting down laying my legs on his lap. "I don't even know."

We sat there in a comfortable silence just watching TV, then Jasper started falling asleep. "Hey Jasp, go lay down, your falling asleep." I said sitting up from my laying down position. He just made noises and laid down on top of me. "Jasp your heavy, we aren't kids anymore" I said chuckling lightly. When me and Jasp were kids he would lay on top of me and fall asleep, and when he broke up with his girlfriend in 6th grade he was clingy all the time, but I was never bothered by it. I was rubbing his back and soon fell into a deep slumber.

I woke up in the middle of the night and heard the shower running. So I guess Jasper was cleaning up. I sat up and stretched my arms out hearing all the cracking sounds. I stood up and walked to the bed room that I stayed in last night. And fell back asleep.

It only seemed like a couple of minutes before Jasper woke me up. "Jess wake up, I made breakfast" he said sitting on the side of the bed rubbing the side of my arm. "Okay." I said and sat up sliding off the bed.

After breakfast I went back to my house. "Bye Jasp, and thanks for the gift, I really appreciate it." I said hugging him, "Your welcome birthday princess." I smiled and started walking home. I refused to let Jasper take me home, he as already done so much for me. I smiled at the thought of him. It's weird because lately I feel weird around Jasper, but Im thankful he's my friend.
