Chapter 1: Salamander and Akatosh

Young YN POV

I have just woken up and I see that my life right now wasn't a bad dream. My father really did leave me. I start walking around looking for some food when an old man walks up to me.

Old man: Hello there, young man. What are you doing?

YN: I'm looking for food. Look I don't want any trouble so just leave me alone.

Old man: Where are your parents? Have they not been feeding you?

YN: My Dad disappeared. I've been looking for him ever since.

Old man: What does he look like? I travel around so I may have seen him.

YN: Well, he wouldn't go to a town since he would stick out like a sore thumb. My Dad's a dragon.

Old man: A dragon?

YN: Yeah. He taught me Dragon Slayer Magic.

Old man: Was it always just you and your Dad?

YN: Yeah. He was the best. But when I was asleep I could've sworn he said to find some friends or something.

Old man: Have you ever heard of Wizard Guilds?

YN: Yeah. But never thought of joining one though. A lot of the ones I've seen. They look like a family but I'm scared that they'll treat me like an outcast.

Makarov: Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Makarov and I'm the Guild Master of Fairy Tail. Would you like to join?

YN: Would really let me?

Makarov: Of course. Everyone should have friends that love them. But at Fairy Tail, we are more than friends. We are a family. A family that will pick each other up when we fall down. A family that helps each other whenever it's needed.

YN: Yeah! I'll join!

Later after he bought me food and we took a train to Fairy Tail. When it started moving I started to get Motion Sickness.

Makarov: Ah, you get Motion Sickness like another Dragon Slayer that we have in Fairy Tail.

YN: *tries to not barf* Another Dragon Slayer?

Makarov: Yes.

YN: This other Dragon Slayer. What was his Dragons name?

Makarov: I believe he said, Igneel.

YN: *shocked* Igneel?

Makarov: From your reaction, I'm guessing you know who that is.

YN: Yeah, he used to visit me and my Dad sometimes. They would talk while I trained with the kid that was with him.

Makarov: Yes, that kid is Natsu.

YN: So, why is the Guild called Fairy Tail?

Makarov: Oh? Well, it's because of the mystery of whether or not fairies have tails or not, or they even exist.

We finally made it to a town called Magnolia which is the hometown of Fairy Tail. We then enter the Guild and everyone is either fighting or laughing. But from the atmosphere, you could tell they all cared for one another. And they weren't fighting out of hate. They were doing it for the fun of it.

Makarov: *clears throat* Listen up!!! We have a new recruit.

Everyone stopped fighting and looked at us, then at me making me nervous.

YN: U-umm. Hello.

Then Natsu came drumming up to me.

Natsu: Hey, it's you!
