That very night, Runyu packed his things and went to work after that. After all he was still a Night Immortal. After work, Runyu moved into the Luo Xiang Mansion right then and there. With that, Runyu would not need to meet Xufeng.

Meanwhile, Xufeng returns from the Human Realm after waiting for Runyu at the promised place but Runyu does not appear until Xufeng meets with Deputy General Li. Deputy General Li told him Runyu was dead and buried. Xufeng went to his grave and found that his golden hairpin had been taken.

Xuanji Palace is empty and no one is around. Xufeng returned to Qi Wu Palace and found that there was no one else besides Jinmi. From Jinmi, Xufeng heard everything that happened and looked shocked. During these few days Xufeng was so busy that he didn't have time to go see Runyu.

Runyu also seemed to be avoiding it to quite the extreme. Runyu will only come when he is in charge as a Night Immortal. Xufeng was annoyed to know that. Today was the Heavenly Empress' birthday celebration, there was no way that Runyu would not come.

The event had already started and Runyu still didn't show up making Xufeng's mood sour to a certain level until chaos arrived. Jinmi makes a scene at the party. When the Heavenly Empress punished Jinmi, the golden hairpin that Jinmi was wearing reacted and Jinmi's disguise was opened.

Jinmi is the daughter of Immortal Zifen and Immortal Luo Lin. Runyu who didn't know at that time came in a bit of a hurry. The Heavenly Empress was quite shocked by that fact plus the matter of the golden hairpin which belonged to Xufeng. Xufeng himself was shocked. 'It should have been used by Runyu not Jinmi.' Xufeng thought with a frown of disapproval.

After Luo Lin went to Flora Realm and confirmed this. Jinmi lives with Luo Lin as well as Lin Xiu and Runyu. Runyu smiled at Jinmi. The little family made small talk.

Runyu went on duty because it was time. Even though he didn't want to, he had to go. Xufeng was waiting for him there. Runyu sighed looking at Xufeng and ignored him. Runyu set the stars and Xufeng watched him silently. After he finished, Runyu looked at Xufeng quietly.

"Why are you looking for me?" Runyu asked flatly. "Why did you give the hairpin to Jinmi?" Xufeng asked to the point. "The person you like is Jinmi. I just returned it to the owner." Runyu said calmly. "The person I like is you." Xufeng said angrily. "You're just confused." Runyu said calmly.

Without warning, Xufeng pushed Runyu to the floor making Runyu wince in pain as his head hit the floor. Xufeng forcefully kissed Runyu. Runyu fights but loses to Xufeng. Runyu closed his eyes not wanting to see. Runyu's pride was exhausted in Xufeng's hands.

It took several hours for Xufeng to finally stop. Runyu slapped Xufeng's face. "I don't want to see you again!" Runyu said angrily and tidied up his messy clothes. Xufeng was speechless. Runyu walked with pain. Xufeng looked at Runyu with a sad look.

Runyu was sick for several days and couldn't work. When Runyu got out of bed, Runyu heard from Luo Lin that Jinmi had a hardship in Human Realm. Xufeng and Suihe who jumped last were also dragged along.

Runyu nodded. Yanyou who is Jinmi's friend. Secretly helping Jinmi from Mu Ci's attacks. Runyu occasionally checked on his sister, Jinmi. Today, Jinmi looked at Runyu smiling. "Immortals, thank you." Jinmi said suddenly while looking at Runyu. Runyu looked confused and looked around.

After confirming that Jinmi talked to him. Runyu smiled and looked back at Jinmi. "I happened to be passing by." Runyu said smiling. Mu Ci attacked at that time but Runyu managed to block him leaving Runyu injured. "Let me treat you." Jinmi said worriedly.

"Jinmi, what are you doing?" Xufeng asked angrily. "Immortal .." Jinmi's words were stopped because Runyu held her hand. Jinmi looked at Runyu and who shook his head back. "I happened to be passing by. I'm leaving now." Runyu said politely. Qintong attacked Runyu but Runyu stopped him with his ice sword.

The fight is inevitable. Xufeng checked on Jinmi to make sure that Jinmi was okay. Runyu smiled and knocked Qintong unconscious before fleeing from there. "I'm grateful." Runyu muttered in relief. The system hasn't issued a mission for a long time so Runyu is a little worried that the story has changed so much that he can't come back. Because the two are still in love here, it means the story hasn't changed. Runyu can return to his original place.

Runyu returned to concentrate on work. Runyu was even too busy that he didn't notice, his younger sister Jinmi as well as Xufeng and Suihe had already come home. Runyu got the rights to Dong Ting Lake with Luo Lin's help, making him very busy taking care of his duties as a Night Immortal as well as the Lord of Dong Ting Lake.

Unbeknownst to Runyu, Xufeng was watching him often. "Liar, I'm not confused. If you weren't worried about me, you wouldn't be relieved to see me okay." muttered Xufeng. A few months later, Runyu, who was done with his business, heard that Jinmi and Xufeng were getting married.

Ruyu was shocked. 'So fast. What's my mission?' Runyu asked. [Ensuring the safety of the Water Immortal and Wind Immortal.] 'I understand.' Runyu said. Wherever Luo Lin and Lin Xiu went, Runyu followed except for his duties. Runyu just got home from work when the atmosphere seems strange.

Runyu immediately came in and saw that Luo Lin was about to be attacked. Runyu used his water shield to block the flower fire. Someone look like Xufeng immediately ran away. “Runyu, are you alright?” Lin Xiu asked worriedly. "That was Xufeng, wasn't it?!" Luo Lin asked angrily. "Not father, but someone in disguise. With Xufeng's personality, he would not carry out a sneak attack." Obviously Runyu. Luo Lin and Lin Xiu brought Runyu back.

The next day, Runyu woke up with a pain in his arm. Runyu was shocked to see Xufeng in his room. "Why are you here?" Runyu asked warily. "Jinmi asked me." Xufeng replied casually.
