Victoria G: What inspired you to become a singer?
Maddy Lee Ann: I was on set for a film last fall and someone I worked with encouraged me to try singing. Once I tried it I was hooked.
VG: What is your favorite thing about singing?
MLA: I like to sing about my life and the people I'm around.
VG: Who are your musical inspirations?
MLA: Taylor Swift is an amazing singer / songwriter.
VG: What is your songwriting process?
MLA: Ideas can come to me at anytime so I use my iPhone notes app to write ideas down. Then I come back to them when I'm ready to write the entire thing. My debut song "Numb" was co written with my music producer, Pete Masitti.
VG: What messages are important for you to express through your music?
MLA: I want to share that everyone experiences ups and downs in life and the importance of spreading positivity.
VG: Do you play any instruments?
MLA: I am currently learning guitar.
VG: How would you describe yourself in three words?
MLA: Positive, hardworking, caring
VG: Do you have any hidden talents?
MLA: No real hidden talents but I was a competition cheerleader for 13 years when I was younger.
VG: Where do you see yourself in ten years?
MLA: I hope to be singing in front of a big crowd or on a TV series.

VG: What advice do you have for an aspiring singer?
MLA: Don't stop working on your creativity and take risks.
VG: What can you share about your two feature films coming out next year?
MLA: "Always a Winner" is a faith based film that will be out in April and the other film is called "Do You Remember".
