Meeting the family was a bit difficult , no one expected it to go this way.

our little shapeshifter was a bit late

Tommy always loved his family , he may be a loud child and be called annoying really often by them but they could even hut him and he would still love them no matter what. He had gotten attached to them , he didnt want to when he first got adopted by them but now he knew he loved them and they loved him.

He was 4 when they started to foster him and 5 when Phil adopted him. He loved it there and trusted them with all his heart. Now he was 6 and up in his room getting ready for kindergarden with a dumb headache he had for some reason , he love going to his friends and then going back home to his family so he decided to ignore the headache for now.

Tommy ran down the stairs looking for Phil , when he saw him in the kitchen making pancakes he ran over to him and huged his lag making Phil chirp in suprise , Tommy , the boy he is , tried to copy the chirp but failed and tried again just to fail again and sigh before noticing his headache had left

,,Tommy dont be sad , aren't you excited to go see your Friends today?" Phil asked and picked tommy up and holding him with one arm while making the pancakes with the other

,,can i go with you today?" Tommy asked and Phil chuckled making a chirp that Tommy of course copied again, they already went to see a doctor with tommy because they were worried something was wrong with him since he didnt do it before a few week ago but the doctors said that he was probably just trying to be like them and that it wasnt anything to worry about.

,,sorry Toms but you will have to go to school" Phil said as Tommy leaned his head on Phils shoulder

,,if i was a hybrid like you or Techie or Wilby , what would i be?" Tommy asked thinking and Phil smiled at him

,,i would hope for you to be a bird like me but i think a animal with ears like a cat or dog would fit you more, the wings would just be a bonus" phil said as he slighly tickled tommy who started giggling imediatly. Phil would always be away from his worries once he heard his sons laugh , they always made him happy and right now he needed these thought he had to be gone. Tommys question sounded sad , like he was hoping to still get hybrid feagures but that wadnt possible anymore since you would get them at the age of 5 and he was 6 already.

,,do you hear that?" Tommy asked out of nowhere and looked to the stairs leading upstairs to the bedrooms and phils office plus the nest room they had

,,hear what toms?" Phil asked confused , he didnt hear anything what did tommy mean?

,,didnt you hear- whatever.." tommy muttered and looked away from the door and back to Phil

,,Wil! Tech! food is ready!" Phil then yelled when he let tommy down , Wilbur and Techno both came running down the stairs , both almost falling the last few stairs down before sitting down at the kitchen table

,,good morning dad ,toms" Wilbur said and Tommy walked over to him

,,up?" Tommy asked making grabby hands to Wilbur , Wilbur chuckled and picked the blond boy up sitting him down on his lap

,,good morning sunshine" Wilbur smiled at him starting to go through his hair with one hand , Tommy smiled leaning into the touch as he started to try and do the same purr noice Wilbur would make when they would cuddle.

,,theseus is like a mockingbird" Techno said and Tommy looked at him with wide eyes

,,could i be a bird like dad!?" Tommy asked and everyone stopped what they did looking at tommy with something like pity

,,sorry sunshine , would be a bit to late to get hybrid features now" Wilbur sighed making Tommy gross his arms

,,thats unfair. I want to fly like dad!" Tommy said
