I quickly slipped on a green shirt and a pair of snug blue jeans. Eager for the meal waiting for me at the pack house, obviously.
As I fought with my unruly brown locks, a grumble escaped my lips. I was never deemed as attractive, my parents told me I lacked masculinity, landing the blame on my shoulders.
I was "blessed" with being too short, a trait that would be normal for most omegas, I still remained unappealing due to me not "acting" like an omega.
I was the opposite of my sister in looks, with plain brown eyes and pale skin. The only feature we shared was our fluffy brown hair.
stuffing my phone into my pocket and making my way downstairs. I suppressed my laugh as I saw my sister was all glammed up, adorned with expensive jewellery, even for a casual dinner.
I've only owned a suit once and It ended up ripped, due to my clumsiness. So now I settled on only wearing basic fits.
"Come on, we can't be late!" Lena whined, while stamping her foot impatiently.
Ignoring her unbearable voice, I made my way to the car.
As everyone slowly piled into the car, my dad started another lecture, urging me to act more manly.
"We don't have time for your clumsiness tonight, stay out of the way, alright?" my dad demanded, furrowing his eyebrows at me.
I nodded my head listlessly, being told this a million times.

Upon arrival, the room revealed lavish decorations, a mouth-watering feast, and everyone dressed up in their finest garments, as if it was their wedding.
I felt entirely out of place being the only one with casual wear. I already wanted to leave.
As my sister gracefully walked the halls of the pack house, gasps of awe resonated through the room, and envious gazes followed her every step. My sister took pleasure in the attention, smirking the whole way.
Not gonna lie that was badass, wish i could try that out.
soon enough, I found myself seperated from my family, as swarms of pack member scurried for her favour because supposedly gonna be the next "luna" of the Romano pack.
I strayed away from greeting anyone, I enjoyed talking, but everyone said I was too chatty.
I also avoided hanging out with other wolves my age, they often resorted into mocking me. Mostly by my perpetual bully Ajax, been my bully since our pup days. That was actually really embarrassing for him.
And wouldn't you know, like a twisted coincidence, Ajax approached me, accompanied by his lackeys, their smirks firmly in place. With a decaying tooth and a scrawny build, Ajax stood as an alpha despite his unremarkable looks.
"Hey!" He bellowed, his voice sounding out throughout the room. But I pretended to not hear, avoiding confrontation. That was before he proceeded to throw a glass of wine, drenching my shirt. I recoiled at the cold liquid, seeping through my skin and ruining my once-green shirt.
Ajax and his minions erupted into laughter, exchanging triumphant high-fives. The crowd didn't hide their laughter either. I stood frozen in place, grimacing.
Eventually everyone looked away, and him and his minions departed as if i were merely a toy to them. My sister approached me, looking me up and down, giving me a sympathetic smile.
"Not even ten minutes into the party, and you've already found yourself in these shameful situations," my mother scolded, grabbing tissues roughly wiping me down.
