PABLO
Esto recién empieza (Duki, Emilia)
August 2nd
Summer was coming to an end for me. There were only two weeks left to start the pre-season with Barça, and my nerves were on the surface. Many times I thought about what a summer would be like without football involved. But, very far from that idea, I was. Sweating like a chicken, exhausted by the long walk had with Ferrán, Nico and Pedri, my friends and teammates.
Come on, Pablo! We don't have all day - Ferrán shouts from the other side of the street. He and Nico were much ahead than Nico and I. But from afar.
I didn't even know where I was going. The only thing was that we were close to the Sants neighborhood, or so I thought. "I don't know if you remember it, but we don't know where you're taking us," says Nico, tired.
When we get to where they were, I let out a rather loud sigh, which causes Pedri to roll his eyes. Between the heat and the fact that we have been walking for more than an hour, my body can't take it anymore. The heat is going to kill me.
We are already close. Stop complaining, come on.
We crossed the road - which is pedestrian on weekends in that neighborhood - and we arrived at a cream-colored building, quite old at first glance. Ferran approaches the navy blue door, which has the number sixteen just above, and stings at one of the intercoms.
"Yes?" asks a voice on the other side.
"It's me," he replies. Open.
After a few seconds, the door rings, telling us that it is open. He turns around and looks at us.
"Do you want to go up?" he asks.
We all deny it.
"We are waiting for you here," I say.
After a few minutes, Ferrán goes down.
"Are we going home to watch the game?" he asks. Today there was a basketball game and we all wanted to see it.
