As the group is walking around dolls scream upon seeing them.
"Ah must be a customary greeting here." Ugly Dog says as he goes up to a blonde girl.
"Ohh..." The girl says.
"Hola mi amor. ¿Tú vienes aquí mucho?" Ugly Dog asks as he smiles at the girl.
"Hard pass." The girl says before leaving.
"I guess she's not bilingual. That was my best line." Ugly Dog says.
"Another swing. Another miss." Wage says.
"Better luck next time old friend." Alexis says.
"Just imagine Uglies. All our dreams are waiting for us right through here. Nothing. And I mean nothing is gonna stop us now!" Moxy says confidently as the group stares at a portal.
"Whoa. What's going on?" Alexis asks as lights go out.
"I think that answer is over there and I'm guessing his name is Lou." Wage says as a boy with blonde hair comes into view as people shout the name Lou as the boy is singing. As the group is watching Lou then notices the group while singing before people cheer as he stops singing.
"I really do feel bad for you but kids just don't want ugly. So I'm not sure where you belong but it's not here." Lou says as Moxy gives a sad look.
"Come on Moxy. Let's just go home. Coming here was clearly a mistake." Alexis says as she looks at Moxy as Lou walks up to her.
"And who are you miss? What's a pretty little thing like you doing with those uglies? Oh.. Now I see." Lou says as he notices Alexis's ears and tail.
"Like that it's any of your business who I am or what I look like. We're not wanted right? Fine with me. Come on everyone. It's time we headed home anyway." Alexis says as she pins her ears back in annoyance.
"Do you want me to carry you home too? Okay. Just let me know." Babo says as he picks some of the others up.
"Moxy..." Wage says as she notices Moxy no longer following the group.
"You know what? We're not going anywhere!" Moxy says as some of the dolls gasp.
"What are you doing? Have you lost your mind? We don't belong here." Wage says as she and Alexis go over to Moxy.
"We've come this far." Moxy says.
"Uh...come again?" Lou asks in disbelief.
"We're gonna train and go to the Big World. We're just as lovable as any of you. And we're gonna prove you wrong!" Moxy shouts in determination.
"Before we decide to do this shouldn't we tell Ox?" Lucky Bat asks worriedly.
"Ox? Who is Ox?" Lou asks curiously.
"The founder and mayor of our town where we live." Lucky Bat says.
"So there's a whole town of Uglies?" Lou asks.
"It's called Uglyville." Alexis says annoyedly.
"I guess they're into literal naming." A girl says.
"Um, none of this matters okay? Only pretty dolls can run the Gauntlet. Rules are rules." Lou says.
"What rules?" Moxy asks.
"Did someone say rules? It says right here in section 43..." A robot says as it comes over.
"Oh! You know what? Stay here." Lou says as everyone looks at him.
"So you're gonna let us stay? What about the rules?" Alexis asks in confusion.
"Yes. I mean even uglies and partially pretty dolls deserve a chance to at least try. The rules can be flexible this time." Lou says as he goes up close to Alexis.
"Uh yeah back up pretty boy. I prefer my personal space." Alexis says as she backs away from Lou slightly.
"Feisty aren't you?" Lou asks as he smiles.
"You have no idea. Besides more like stubborn." Ugly Dog says as Alexis looks at him.
"Hey!" Alexis says.
"Besides what kind of amazingly benevolent leader would I be if I denied fellow dolls a chance to fulfill their dreams? Mandy show our special guests their quarters. May I suggest the Supplies Suite." Lou says as a dark skinned girl steps up.
"Sweet!" Babo shouts excitedly.
"I have a reputation to maintain. So I let you skate by this time. Enjoy this moment. Because it doesn't get better than this." Lou says as he looks at Moxy.
"Ha! That's the name of our song." Babo shouts as the group leaves with Mandy.
