::THE FIRST WEEK::

pov - third

The Princess was the first one up, as usual. She began getting ready for the day, thinking about Rome and how much easier he was making the coronation planning. She couldn't help but to be grateful of his presence and aid. There was also no denying that he was a very good-looking young man, but she couldn't let herself be distracted by him. He'd been here a week so far and she had noticed herself staring at him more often.

At first, she believed he was a player. She couldn't believe that someone like him would be much help and would only be a distraction, but she was wrong. Rome's ability to plan and coordinate a more open design of the area for the coronation. He suggested it be outdoor for the coronating and indoor for all other activities. He made changes to the decoration colors to complement the Princesses dress better. Adding more festive decorations, to accentuate the holiday. All of his ideas have been incredable.

Solana walked out to the royal gardens and sat in the gazebo, where her father proposed to her mother. She listened to the band practicing the music for her coronation, basking in the peace. "Good morning." Solana turned quickly to the unfamiliar voice. "Oh. Good morning, Rome." "What are you doing out her so early? It's cold out." Roman asked sitting across from her. "I enjoy the cooler weather." She smiled to him, before looking away.

There were only 11 more days until the coronation and Roman had yet to convince the princess yet. He had to fix that but spending this week with her planning the coronation and looking at her now in the sunlight made him second guess the plan.

A hand reached out in front of her face. Solana turned to look at Roman, smiling up at him, "What are you doing?" "Well, you still need to practice some of the dances. What better time than the present?" He chuckled and smiled at her. After a few seconds, she grabbed his hand standing up.

"Okay. Put your other hand on my shoulder and mine will go on your waist." She followed his instructions looking down at her feet to make sure she stood right. "Now, I pull you closer and you follow my lead, yeah." "Okay." She spoke softly. Still looking down as they began to dance slowly. "Keep your eyes on me. I've got you." She looked at him, "I don't want to step on you." "It'll be okay, just trust me."

With that they continue to dance. Solana soon began to loosen up, and Roman noticed. He began to test the waters and spin her, she spun with grace, as though she's done this before. "Are you sure you've never danced before?" He joked. "Positive. I just have a good teacher." She smiled.

What neither of them noticed, was Cora and Apollo looking through the windows of one of the upper windows."She looks like she's having fun." Apollo said to Cora with a smile on his face. "They are definitely very cute together." Cora replied, watching as the two laughed when Roman dipped Solana.

When he brought her back up, the stopped smiling and stared at each other. They held onto each other closely. Neither of them made a move, just staring into each other's eyes. Soon enough, Solana looked down and took a step back. "We should head back inside. Breakfast will be held soon." She turned and walked back inside quickly. Roman sighed and watched her leave before looking down at the ground, before heading back up to his room.

In the room, Roman wrote down all of his plans to confront the princess about partnering with the Storms, the ones that wouldn't work had a little 'X' next to the. He also wrote down any interactions he had with her and his thought process through it all. It helped to clear his head.

As he did this, he got a call from his brother. "What's sup man." Rider spoke through the video call as soon as it was answered. "Hey big bro. How's everything over there?" Rider sighed, "Not too good little brother. Moms been hysterical, she wants an update on your progress." "I know. I just don't need her down my neck, every 2 hours." "So how is everything with the princess. Don't worry, I won't tell mom." The brothers shared a chuckle.

Roman let out another sigh. "It's been slow, but she's opening up to me. She's too trusting, maybe it's because she doesn't know how to use technology or because of her curiosity. And she's too nice. She can't be a good ruler if all she does is look at the world with that child-like adoration. Her and those big brown eyes, that cute smile, and-"

He was cut off by his brother, "Woah. You're ranting. Don't tell me you've got a thing for the Princess of Pandora." Rider's smile was growing as he waited for his brother to answer his question. "What, no. I was just describing her so YOU could get a good understanding of what it's like to be around her." "Right..."

"So, you're telling me you feel nothing for Rome?" Cora asked her Best Friend. "Positive. He'd only be a distraction, and I have a duty to my people." Solana said, trying to convince not only the Friends but herself as well. "Majesty, you obviously care about him. You've never looked at someone that way." Apollo spoke. "That doesn't account for anything Apollo, I've never been around a non-staff member before him."

Apollo sighed, "Princess. It's okay to feel for him." With that he bowed slightly before walking out. Solana sighed and turned to look at Cora, "Well. What do you say?" "Go for it and give him a chance. What's the worst that could happen?"
