"AVERY YOU HAVE A LETTER." my mother yelled "OKAY!" I yell in response, and then I go downstairs and take the letter from my mother, and it says

Dear Avery Welborn
We are proud to tell you
That you have been accepted
into hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry

"Omg mom I got accepted into hogwarts" I say with a huge smile on my face. "I'm so excited for you sweetheart." My mother says while giving me a big hug.

TIME SKIP(bc I'm lazy af)

I have finished getting everything I need for school I think to myself. Suddenly I see people who have stuff like me so I go to them. " excuse me but can you help get to platform 9'3/4 please" i ask a red haired woman who turns to me and smiles "just follow Ron and this boy it is there first time too. will you be a first year or?" She asked me "I went here before so this would be my fifth year I forgot how to get there so sorry for bothering you miss." I responded with a nervous smile on my face

"oh it is quite alright dreary what's your name?" She asked me "its Avery Welborn miss Weasley." I responded with a grin. After that mess I was on the train looking for a cart to sit in when I saw a guy sitting with a blonde haired 1st year by the looks of the blonde kid. I knocked on the glass, "may I sit here with you boys all other carts are packed so." I asked needing a place to sit. The other guy who looked older than the blondie looked at me the nodded his head and gestured for me to sit down.

I sat down no the blonde boy was staring at me it was creepy but I ignored it "what's you guys names if it's not a bother to you to answer." I asked them and the blonde boy eagerly responded "Malfoy Draco Malfoy." He smirked while saying that I giggles at his name. The other guy responded "I'm Mattheo Riddle." He said with no facial expression. "You guys have cool names mine is just Avery Welborn which is quite weird if I say so myself." They chuckled at that statement.

"Are you a 3rd year?" Mattheo asked looking quite curious. I giggled "No I am not I am a fifth year actually." I said with a proud face on which Draco looked bummed, probably because it would mean that he couldn't date me or something like that. "Oh so you're a fifth year student as well as me." Mattheo said with a smile on his face which was quite adorable smile he had.

"I guess I am." I laughed but then Draco was about to say something when a girl with hair that was very um crazy you could say came in. "Have any of you seen a toad a boy named Neville lost his?" She asked and I could tell she was going to be annoying. "Sorry we haven't now you can leave." I said sternly and rolled my eyes Mattheo chuckled at what I did. She stomped away angrily. "Well she is going to be really annoying I can tell." I said annoyed already. Which made Draco and Mattheo laugh.

A/N: I have nothing against Hermione it is just for the story.

The train stopped me, Mattheo, and Draco already had are robes on. I sat next to them on the boat ride there. We arrived and we went to the great hall to get sorted. "It is time for you to get sorted into your houses which are Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Slytherin." Professor Mcgonagall said then she pulled out the sorting hat and a paper that had names of all newcomers. Mattheo was sitting at the Slytherin table. There were a few more kids left to get sorted me, and Draco were among them.

"Draco Malfoy!" Professor Mcgonagall said. Draco was already heading up. He sat down and professor put the sorting hat on his head. "SLYTHERIN!" The sorting hat said and the Slytherin table clapped. After many others people. "Avery Welborn!" Professor Mcgonagall shouted I went up nervously I could feel Mattheo and Draco watching me. The hat was placed on my head. "Yes yes I remember you Avery very cunning and not afraid to stick up for people you care about, you have changed since last time I know exactly where to put you." The sorting hat whispered to me. "SLYTHERIN!" I sighed in relief and the Slytherin table clapped and cheered.

I looked over and saw Mattheo smiling. I walks over to the table and sat down next to Mattheo. "That was so scary oh my gosh." I whined and Mattheo chuckled "I knew you were getting slytherin since the train. I laughed knowing what he was talking about.

I looked at him and smiled then say his rings. "Wow those rings you have are so beautiful Mattheo." I say admiring his rings. He followed my gaze and chuckled deeply and i guessed he was tired. I blushed hearing his chuckle he noticed but didn't say anything. "Well thank you pretty girl." He whispered in my ear which, as he expected I blushed wildly at the name he had called me. "W-why did y-you call m-me that?!" I asked as I was calming down a bit. "Because you are a very pretty girl." He said to me with a smirk.

I playfully punched his arm and he looked at me with a bit of anger and excitement. It made me worried that I had upset him. "S-sorry I didn't m-mean to upset you I-I wasn't s-serious." I say as a lump formed in my throat. I have always hated upsetting people every time I did I would cry and start cutting my arm til it bled. "It's okay darling." Mattheo said as he noticed that I was becoming upset.

He hugged me, I hugged him back tightly and the lump in my throat started going away. "Sorry for being a burden I just don't like making people upset." I whispered to him then I looked up and saw Draco staring at us confused. I laughed realizing that me and Mattheo had forgotten that we were in the grand hall. "Want to go to the dormitory with me?" I asked Mattheo so we could continue our conversation in private. "Yeah I would." He responded chuckling nervously. "Then let's go now." I said giggling as I grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the grand hall.

"I have legs you know." Mattheo said to me tired of me dragging him. "Then use them." I said with a tiny bit of a attitude. "I will now let go of me." He told me sternly. "What's the magic word." I responded to him with a playful smile on my face. He stared at me with a dead serious look it kinda scared me. He rolled his eyes then said, "please let go of me." He said angrily which made me giggle. I let him go and as soon as I did that he pushed me and my, back hit one of the dungeon walls near the Slytherin common room.

"Okie." I say in a whine. Mattheo rolls his eyes and hugged me. "You didn't upset me pretty girl you excited me I mean like you made me, uh made me know that it's going to be fun to hang out with you." He whispered to me. "Thanks Theo." I say looking at him with a smile.
