My heels clacked on the reflectively tiled floor as I hastily moved through the lobby of the grand building, swerving out of the way of stray people and to the front desk. I was moving as fast as I could in heels with the need to still be professional. When I finally got to the marbled front desk I clicked a nail on the table anxiously. The women behind was on the phone, twirling the spiraled cord around her freshly manicured finger. As she noticed my presence, she raised another finger up and shot a smile before going back to typing.

I nodded at her gesture to hold and drew a heavy breath in, impatiently looking around. "Ok, thank you for waiting ma'am; What do you need help with?" She asked warmly, making my head perk back over to her. "Oh, yes um.. Im supposed to be in a meeting. Nathan Petrelli is the name you would use I'm pretty sure." I explained, taking half of my attention to digging through my purse for a stray paper. Good lord was I disorganized today.

"Nathan Petrelli" The women spelled out slowly while typing rhythmically. Click click clack cluck cluck... I scoured through the jungle that was my bag before bringing out a crinkled paper about the size of a matchbox. "Room 290" I added, flattening the paper on the desktop. "Yes, 290. What would you like to know?" She looked back to me, this woman was an angel oh my stars. "Right, yeah. Where... is that exactly? Rough directions" I asked, shoving the paper back into my bag.

"Of course. Its on floor two, you just want to go fully straight down till the last turn and then to the left, you'll find it there" She directed me and I nodded at each new instruction. "Thank you so much" I praised, already turning around and on my way to one of many elevators. I took one to my left and slipped inside alongside two other women. I tapped my heel anxiously and took a breath. "Do you mind letting me off at the second floor, im running late to a meeting" I struck the silence and they both looked at me with sympathy. "Of course!" Girl one said, her striking plum suit scrunched slightly in response to her lunge towards the '2nd floor' button.

The other of two girls was quite shorter than not only ms. plum suit girl who was startlingly tall but also me. Her sleek blond bob shook as she nodded at my request. I fidgeted to myself in the quiet elevator, a few sniffs were traded but nothing more than that. Abruptly, the doors opened and I quickly slinked out. "Good luck!" Ms. plum suit girl called out and I gave a wave back as a thank you, gracefully booking it down the hall. I finally got to the last turn and swerved left, I was in the home stretch and could see the blurred doors coming closer and closer.

When I got to the room I stopped, fixing my hair and catching my breath. My breath huffing out harshly as I smoothed out my clothes next. "Ok" I whispered to myself, trying hype up my brain. I quietly creaked the door open, peering inside. As I finally decided it was ok to enter by the absence of turning heads, I shuffled in and took the only empty swiveled leather seat next to Nathan. Dropping the bag next to me, Nathan leaned his head slightly down to me.

"Where the hell have you been?" He hissed quiet enough for only us to hear. "I am so sorry, how much have I missed?" I whispered back, bringing out my book and fountain pen. He just sighed and slid his notebook over to me, allowing me to haphazardly scan through it. The men continued their speaking as I looked up from Nathan's notebook. I had never been in this particular room before, our normal meeting room was 306 which along with others is down for renovations. Im assuming this room will be a norm for now.

"And where exactly are you planning to quote, Spread this message?" A man a little older than Nathan spoke out and said Nathan let out a discreet sigh. I looked up at Nathan and then to the man, he seemed new to the team. His face was not that recognizable, pretty plain, his names' probably Ted or something. "Thats why I brought it up Laurence, I was hoping to get some input as to how exactly to tackle this" Nathan responded, looking down at me. This was definitely my job. I sniffed slightly and got up, smoothing out my skirt.
