"I got this one client and then I'm done grandma" I said cleaning my tattoo room before my client came

"Alright well I'll talk to to you later then" She said

"Alright I love you"

"I love you too hunny" She said before hanging up

Few minutes later I heard a knock

"Come in" I said cleaning the seat as my back was turned

"Hey I was just in the phone I'll be ready for you in a sec" I said before turning around dropping the seat cleaner bottle as I couldn't believe my eyes

"But—Dee you're supposed to be— What?" I said lost

"You gon let me explain without freaking out?" He asked as I just sat down trying not to panic but shit it was hard not to I thought he was gone

I should've known something was up when he had a closed casket

"You gon l— explain De'Shawn" I said as he sighed sitting down

"You know that day I was came to yo house then you got the call I was dead and two accidents happened right? The car crash and then the person driving off the bridge?" He asked as I just nodded my head slowly

"I was the one in the car crash, and after I got out the hospital I left because it's a lot of niggas that actually wanted me dead Jaz, so I had to lay low and I'm back cause now all they asses dead" He said leaving me speechless

I wanted to hug him and at the same time I wanted to beat his ass cause all this long I been thinking he was dead

"I don't know what to say.... Who else knows that you was alive?" I asked

"Leeky, Kee and Kaiser but only cause he close to them so don't go hard on bro, all this shit is my fault" He said as I just started crying

I didn't know what to think neither what to do

What was even going on?

"Jaz don't do that" He said standing up walking over to me as he pulled me into a hug

"No, Because these past what six years I thought you were dead because of me" I cried as he pulled away looking at me confused

"Why?" He asked

"Because that night allat shit went down you left my house after you know..." I trailed off

"I'm sorry, I know this shit sound all crazy to you... I just felt like the time was right to come back and I get if you don't ever wanna see me after this" He trailed off as I wiped my face before looking up at him

"Some shit ain't for me to understand Dee, I'm just glad you're okay" I said grabbing a tissue

"So... Leeky, Kee and Kaiser know? Does Erica know you're alive?" I asked

"No" He said as I huffed

"Well that's definitely the first person you need to see, your son is like almost Seven now" I said as he stared off into space
