C H A P T E R O N Ewhoops
third person pov:
The bell jingled as Skylar pushed open the door to 'Daisies' her favourite coffee shop in the upper east side of Manhattan.
She took in the smell of fresh pastries and coffee that hit her at the entrance. The cafe always had an underlaying scent of, funnily enough, daisies.
Skylar arrived at the shop at 11:20AM as usual on a weekday. She and Zoe, her best friend and roommate, would always meet mid-morning during Zoes break. Whether Skye got drinks to go or they both met there.
The blonde made her way to the counter waiting behind a few people. As this was her usual coffee shop, Skylar didn't need to search the board on the back wall for an order.
Zoe was known to be a bit on the late side, always rushing about, but that didnt stop Skylar from spinning on her heels when she heard the bell of the door ring.
She decided to stay focused on the cue moving infront of her so she wasnt left stood in the middle of the shop. Staying facing the front now stuck in her own thoughts Skye fiddled with her fingers while raising on her toes to check the cue over the person infronts shoulder.
As she had told herself to stop spinning round to look at the door, she ignored the bell going off again. Because of this she didnt notice a tall man enter the shop, looking very out of place against the mint green and wooden cafe.
Skye couldn't help but turn to check the door the next time. Oblivious to the mountain of a man behind her, the moment she turned she was face to chest.
correction; rock hard, muscular chest.

Graysons pov:
I have twenty minutes until i have to meet with my father and sister. They like to meet with me once a month to discuss company plans as i dont work full time. He and my sister prefer to do the background work keeping everything afloat while sending me to do the more social work.
I dont like to go to these meetings whithout a coffee- or something stronger in a cup. They drag on so i need something to keep me up.
The coffee shop definitely was not one that i would have seen myself going into had i had the choice of another but it was the nearest to my destination.
The canapé outside was a light mint green matching the cushions and accents of the cafe. A faded wood took up most of the features giving it a cozy vintage look. Not somewhere a person like me would usually be found.
Upon entry I went straight to the cue, that was half way down the small shop. Not too long of a wait i presume. Im not a very patient person.
Standing in line i take in the girl stood infront of me. My eyes travel up and down her small figure.
Her blonde hair fell in choppy waves down to her shoulder blades which held a smooth light tan. She wore a tight, white top. With a pair of light blue jeans that fit well around her hips and thighs before flairing slightly.
The bell of the door seems to have caught her attention because she spins round so suddenly. Due to her turning she bumps straight into me, obviously not noticing i was stood behind her.
I towered above the small girl so her bumping into me doesn't faze me at all.
"oh- im sorry" she says in the most angelic voice i had ever heard.
At that moment i knew I'd do anything to hear her voice again.
