Locked Out Of Heaven

6 years.

For 6 years, I was falling.....hard.

For 6 years I thought I'd have no escape.

For 6 years it felt like no one cared.

Then It all changed.

And for nearly 2 years I felt safe again.

For a third of the time I'd been falling, I had a chance to feel safe again...

Until it all blew up in smoke.

And all in front of my eyes.

I'd never seen anything like it.

Not ever.

Not even in those 6 years of falling.

I watched everything, every part of those 2 years, smoulder and die out.

This is what it feels to be cursed.

It's like a planet, spinning in a never ending universe, all on its own.

It's like a bird flying, and flying, and flying, and never being able to land.

It's like a ocean that ends as soon as it starts.

It's like an angel being locked out of heaven...

Impossibly wrong.
