In the midst of the purple fog and black void filled with nothing but spirits from the past and lockers left untouched for God knows how long, lies a tiny little Jake slumped onto the ground and curling into the ball. His head hung low as he tried his best not to listen to the protests.

"Freak."

"You think you'll actually be something? Look in the mirror, you freak."

"What a freak."

"Such an Attention seeker."

"Puh-lease, That's pathetic!"

"Who does he think he is?"

"What a try hard!"

"Just give up, already. You've shamed yourself enough."

"Do you think we actually want you in our group?"

"You don't belong here."

"Listen here, you're a nobody and that's all you'll ever be."

"Aw, It's Jake! The Little music freak, hah!"

Jake was unfortunate enough to be used to this. He'd wake up, get ready to go to school, get pushed to a locker by another one of his bullies and get kaboodoed on.

He was alone, like always.

He was gonna stick into curling into a ball for the rest of his life here in this "comfortable" little void of his but he goes rigid, hearing someone sniffle.

He looks over to his left side, in confusion as the figures infront of him that were teasing him earlier had dissapeared.

"...[Name]?" He mumbled out in confusion.

"You're so pathetic! Why are you even trying so hard, huh? You'll never amount to anything! You'll always be a freak."

The voice kept switching to his voice and to a much deeper voice, Jake immediately got up and went forward to where she was being tormented by a hooded figure which was weird, even for Jake. they always were just black misty figures with nothing but white dots for eyes and a creepy smile.

"Hey!" He called out to the unknown figure, but it didn't seem to react to his call. Jake angrily stomped over the figure and grabbed it's shoulders to make it turn to him. "Don't talk to her that way-"
