~*~*~

"We are here." My mum says. I look out the window and see a huge house in front of me. "This is our house?" I ask shocked. My mum smiles, "it's big isn't it?"

"It's huge!!!" Adam says.

We hop out and we walk up to the front porch, my mum grabs the keys from her pocket and unlocks the door. As she opens the door we are welcomed by a huge lounge to the right of the entrance leading onto a huge kitchen. "Wow." I walk in and look around the bottom floor. Once I was done I walked up stairs and saw a long corridor with lots of doors. I look in every room and notice most of them are bed rooms but none of them caught my eye. Until one. I walked in and saw a built in closet with a window seat. That would be a perfect place to read. I thought. I look out the window and see another window opposite mine in the next door neighbours house. There was a boy. A teenage boy. He was really attractive. But he we reading a.. Comic book?

He fixes his glasses and turns the page of the comic book. he was cute. "I dibs this room mum." I yell. She walks in, "no problem sweetie." She looks around. "Good pick." She says monitoring more to the boy in the next house. I roll my eyes as she laughs. I walk downstairs to the movers truck and grab my stuff and take it up to my room. I place the boxes down and see that boy isn't there anymore. I shrug mentally and walk downstairs again. I see my mum talking to some lady, "oh this is my daughter Skye. This is Mrs. O' Brien. She lives next door."

I smile, "it's very nice to meet you."

"You too darling. You look about my boys age. Maybe you guys can hang out sometime."

I smile, "of course."

"Oh here he is right now." A very good looking guy comes into view and I basically melt. "Skye, this is Dylan. Dylan this is Skye."

I smile, "hey"

"Hey." He says shyly. Awww he's shy. That's make him 10 times cuter. "Would you mind helping me with the boxes?" I ask as flirty as I can. He blushes, "of course."

I smile as we walk over to the truck, we grab some boxes and walk into the house. "Where do you want this?" He asks.

"Just over there thanks." I say. He nods and places the box down. After about 20 minutes we finished unpacking. I breath out and lean against the counter top. "Finally."

I look at Dylan and he is fidgeting with his fingers. Is he that nervous around me? "You're so cute when you're shy." He lifts his head and blushes; smiling. He bows his head again.

"Thank you for helping me. It means a lot. I owe you." I say.

"I-it's no problem." He stutters.

"Maybe we can hang out tomorrow?" I ask. He gulps, "y-yeah sure."

"You don't seem sure." I giggle.

"It's just that I've never had a girlfriend I guess." He quickly rephrased. "I mean like a woman friend; like a girl that is my friend-" I cut him off and laugh."It's fine Dylan. I'll see you tomorrow."

He smiles, "right. Uh y-yeah I'll just go." He awkwardly walks out of my house. I shake my head and laugh. He was adorable. At that moment my mum walks in, "kissed yet?" She teases.

My mouth drops, "what?"

"He cute! I know you like him. He clearly thinks you're attractive." My mum says. I blush, "I just met him."

"So?" My mum says. I laugh, "okay I'm going upstairs." I walk upstairs and close my door. I may as well start un packing my stuff. I start with clothes and pack them all into my closet. I them start with the posters and photos of me and friends back home. I sigh, I miss them so much already. I look out the window and see Dylan sitting on his bed with his phone. "I should of got his number." I say to myself. I shrug and keep unpacking. Once I had unpacked every box in my room I flop down on my bed and sigh. Before I knew it my eyes were shut.

~*~*~

"Hey." I smile as I open my window to see Dylan.

"Hey." He smiles shyly. "D-do you want to come over?" He stutters.

I nod, "I'll be right there." I close the window and skip down the stairs. "Mum, I'm going to Dylan's." I yell. "Wow. You've known him a day and you're already going to his house." She chuckles.

"That's how you get to know people!" I yell. I open the front door and walk over to Dylan's house. I knock on the door and Mrs O Brien opens the door. "Hello Skye. Here for Dylan." She asks. "Hello, and yes."

"He's right upstairs, his room is the one at he end of the corridor." She smiles. I smile, "thanks." I walk up the stairs and knock on his door. "Come in." He says. I open the door, "hey." I smile.

"Oh hey." He smiles shyly. I walk in and close the door behind me. I walk over to him and sit down next to him. "What are you doing?" I ask.

"I was just chilling on my phone. Nothing really." He replies scratching the back of his head.

I stand up and walk around his room, looking at everything. "Why do you have so many dolls?" I ask looking at a lot of small doll things on his desk. "Oh um they're action figures." He mumbles. I look at him and smile. "Cute."

"I collected them when I was like 14. I don't really want them anymore." He shrugs. I nod and look at all the posters on his walls. "The killers? Do you like them?" I ask.

"Love them." He says.

I smile, "me too." I look around at more, "Linkin park!! You have a good taste in music!" I smile.

He smiles, "thanks." I see a guitar and skip over to it. "You play?" I ask.

He shrugs, "a bit."

I smile and sit next to him, "teach me."

"O-okay." He smiles. He scoots closer to me and I feel my face heat up. We are literally so close right now. He grabs my fingers and places them on the right strings. "Now strum." I strum and accidentally take my fingers off the chords. We both end up laughing, "okay, that didn't work." He laughs. "Let's try again." He says grabbing my hand. My breath hitches, he looks at me, like I was the prettiest girl he had ever seen. The door swings opens and he let's go of my hand and scoots away a bit. I look to the door and see Dylan's mum who seemed to have a huge cheeky grin on her face. "Did I interrupt something?" She asks wiggling her eyebrows. I laugh as I see Dylan's cheeks redden, "no. I was just teaching her how to play guitar."

"Maybe it was a good thing I interrupted." She says.

"Mum!" Dylan groans.

"Okay, okay. I'll go." She says before exiting out of the door. I laugh and Dylan covers his face. "she's so embarrassing."

"Like all mothers." I giggle. He looks up and smiles.

"Why don't we go out? Maybe you can show me around?" I suggest. He nods, "yeah sure. Let's go." We get up and walk downstairs, "mum. Me and Skye are going out for a bit."

"Okay honey have fun. Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" She yells. Dylan face palms and closes the front door. I laugh and we walk to the car. We hop in and he starts the car. "So what school are you going to?" He asks.

"Eastwood high." I reply. (I either made that up or stole it from somewhere. I cannot remember :'))

"That's where I go!" He smiles. I smile, "yes!!!! I have a friend there already!" He chuckles.

He sighs, "all the boys are going to be all over you!"

"I've only got my eyes on one boy."
