to the ones who lost their belief in love,
you loved somebody and you did everything you could to keep them – but it didn't work out.
you loved so hard that when they left, it broke something inside you.
you were this person who was kind. who would help people without expecting anything in return. you were too young. and now, you're in your 20s, and while books have told you that love stories are a forever – for you, love became a lesson.

now, when someone asks for your help, you think twice. you wonder what they want from you. anybody who texts you after midnight – you don't bother replying. you know they are lonely, too.
