Monday finally came around for louis. He was cursing himself for deciding to go back to school only because he hated waking up early. But here he was awake at seven in the morning because he had places to be and things to do.

The last four days, he spent with his family, catching up with them and whatnot. Now, it was time to face real life.

Louis unwillingly got out of bed and got ready for the day, he made sure to pack everything he'd need the night before because he knew that he'd waste time in the morning and not be able to do it.

Although he didn't like waking up early, he had to admit he was quite excited for his first day. Everyone disliked school and made it known of their hatred, but louis enjoyed it. Maybe because he was a little shit that found it funny to annoy teachers, but he enjoyed it nonetheless.

After eating breakfast and helping his sisters get ready for school, louis was leaving the house and heading to his car.

The drive there only took like five minutes, but he'd rather drive than walk because why use more energy than needed?

The school hasn't changed a bit, louis thought when he saw it come in view again. It was still the same broken-down building where kids smoked outside the entrance, and teachers were only just showing up.

Louis parked up in one of the spaces. Well, he thinks it's a space, but he can't really tell because the paint had faded. he grabbed his bag from the passenger seat and got out his car.

His walk up to the main entrance was eventful enough. He could hear the whispers coming from multiple groups of people and could feel the cameras on his already, though he ignored all of the stares and made his way to the front office to get his timetable for the term.

Upon knocking on the door and stepping inside , he immediately met with one of the staff members along with the head teacher.

"Ah Louis! It's great to see you again. How has everything been?" The head teacher, Mrs Flavin greeted. She was a small old lady who had been the head teacher there for over ten years. Louis had always liked her and had a soft spot for her, which was saying a lot because he disliked a majority of the teachers. The only one he could properly tolerate was his old English teacher. He wonders if he's still here, actually.

"Hi Miss, lovely to see you again. Everything's been great, thanks. How's the school treated you? It's not too bad, I hope." He responds politely as he makes his way over to her, giving her a gentle hug.

"School is School." She shrugs with a smile on her face. "I'd love to stay and catch up, but Mr Higgins requested to talk with me before lessons start."

"Higgins is still here?" Louis questions. Mr Higgins was the P.E. teacher. louis got along with him most of the time when he wasn't being a shit.

"Unfortunately." She sighed jokingly. She then dismissed herself and left the room,
leaving louis and the office person.

"Here's your timetable hun, it'll change after Christmas half term. Your lessons will stay the same it's just different days for them. Don't ask me why I think it's stupid, too, but it's best not to question it." She sighed out with a slight smile, which made louis chuckle a little.

"Thank you, miss.." He trailed off, not knowing her name.

"Edwards," She replied, "but call me perrie, please. I hate formalities." Perrie complained.

"Alright, thank you, perrie. Have a nice day." Louis said as he made his way to the door, hearing a 'you too, love' on his way out.

Outside of the door, louis was met with a crowd of people. He stepped back in shock and looked around as everyone stared at him, some whispering here and there.
