You were done with your job for the day, surprisingly being an assistant was actually easy for you being mute. You just had to go around help, getting things ect. Except when you had to talk, that was the hardest part. Though your boss understood you and your background, thank God.

Well after work you had plans with your best friend, Damon. You guys were going to go to a bar and go to his house afterwards, so it was going to be a night! You meet Damon at the train station and then went on the train to go to your location. You guys both sat down on the seats, then Damon asked you "Hey Y/N, I'm going to rest my eyes. Just letting you know." You then give him a thumbs up and he closes his eyes. You decided to listen to some music and you connected to your Bluetooth and put your earbuds/airpods in. While listening to music, Damon, who mostly looked asleep put his head on your shoulder.

While he was having his head on your shoulder an old lady passed by, she stopped and looked at the two of you. "Aw! You guys are such a cute couple!" She then walked away like if nothing happened. Your face turned red, and felt Damon smirking. You check and yes, he was smirking. You playfully hit him and smiling at the same time.

Timeskip

You both had arrived to the bar, you guys are in line until you get your drinks. Finally the people In front of you got your drinks, Damon whispers "Just tell me what number you want, okay?" You nod at him, as he says his number you your fingers to tell him which number you wanted. One of the employees lead you guys to a table, it being in the corner of the room.
"Hey I'm going to take a breather outside, I'll be right back." You nod as a response.

Soon as he left to go outside, you saw a man looking at you, then going to you. "Heyy girl.. want me to buy you a drink, hm?" The guy then sits next to you closely and touches your thigh. You start to feel very uncomfortable and get bad memories, he keeps on doing this until he asks "Why not saying anything, cat got your tongue?" Damon then comes back and sees what's happening.
"Hey, if she doesn't want you to be next to her, then go away you creep. Can't you see on her face that she's uncomfortable?"
"Shut up you fuck boy-" before he continues his sentence Damon interrupts him
"Get off of her! Don't you listen? Maybe that's why you don't have a partner, hm?" He grabs the guy to get up. The guy walks away. You then give Damon the signal to sit next to you.

Damon sits next to you, you start to cry and he doesn't know how to comfort you. The only thought that came in his mind was to hug you, so he did so. He hugged you until you stopped crying, he wasn't really used to it.
"Let's go. This place sucks ass anyway." He grabs your hand and you walk behind him.

Timeskip to Damon's house

Damon let's you sleep in his bed for the night, since it's really late out and he didn't really think through. He assumed that you didn't want him to be in the same spot as you since on what happened to you, but you wanted him to be with you.

He was in the couch in the living room and you didn't want to be alone. So you grabbed him and put him back in his room with you and sit on the bed.
"Y/N what-- don't you want me to sleep somewhere else? I should go back." Before he almost left again, you grabbed his hand and gave him the signal that you wanted him to be with you for the night. So he got on the bed with you.

He was resting with you, looking at a different direction and assuming you were asleep.
"Y/N, I know you're asleep but I really like you." He then closes his eyes completely embarrassed on what he said, he never had feelings like this before. He was soon surprised when you ended up spooning him.
