It's been a while since (Y/N) moved in opposite Peter as he would make contact with a lot. Mainly to make sure she is safe. He doesn't worry about his secrets in the basement anymore since she respects the secrets.
It has been exactly been three months since she moved into the neighborhood and she wasn't picked on ever since that one night months ago.
---
(Y/N) came home from her job at the Kennels as she was looking forward to her weekend off.
"Aah, another day gone, another relaxing day coming up." She sighed happily and slumped onto her couch and turned her TV to check the weather reports for tomorrow and Sunday. "I wonder how Peter is doing..." She whispered and grabbed her phone from her pocket and started to message him. Peter is not a phone person, but he'll message now and then.
(Y/N): 'Hey, Peter. How are you?'
She put her phone and closed her eyes to wait for her phone to go off. However, she fell asleep instead of just resting her eyes.
---
Peter was in his living, removing his gloves to look at his hand. He sighed at it as he noticed how many scars he had on it. His other hand wasn't so bad as he put the glove back on and then saw his phone flashing a blue colour. He hummed and grabbed it and saw the message.
(Y/N): 'Hey, Peter. How are you?'
Peter: 'Not bad, (Y/N). How about you?'
He placed his phone down and the man stood up and sat on his front porch chair as the wind lightly brushed through his brown hair. He was only in his mid-thirties and already had a very small patch of grey hair forming just above his ear. He hated it, but was not afraid to show it. He looks older than he truly is.
Peter walked outside and sat on his porch steps, watching the sun slowly going down from the top of the hill at his right. He hummed and looked at (Y/N)'s house. She must be tired from her job. Taking care of dogs is not very easy.
The man stood up, walking to his car and opened the boot and took out the bottle of water to fill up the cooler in his engine. He forgot to do it earlier that day. While he was at the job, he checked to see if it was all clean and had plenty of oil, which he did. He noticed some talking just down the street towards the city. He raised and eyebrow, closed and locked his car, putting the keys in his pocket and looked at the people walking up on his side. He retreated back to his porch and sat back down, lightly holding onto the wood.
The group walked past and one gazed at him, they looked very familiar to each other.
"Peter?" They asked. Peter stood up and held back his anger. "Oh my gosh! It's you!" He smiled happily and walked towards him, making Peter very defensive. "Mom told many stories about you!" He chuckled and patted his shoulders, but soon noticed the confused look on his face. "Oh, right! We never met! I'm your younger Brother, Ted." Peter still had no idea what was happening. "Your name is Peter Wilson, right?" He only nodded. "Why do you seem nervous?"
"I'm not..." He quietly spoke and looked at the group, as theu stared at him cautiously. "What brings you out here?"
"Oh! These are my buddies from college. We're off to the church near the cemetary! Apparantly, it is haunted by some lady who died in a car accident years ago!" Ted laughed as his friends joined in.
"Shut up, Ted! You know that is a fake story! No! You see, Mr. His Mother had told him that someone lurks around there at night and digs a bunch of holes and steals stuff for no reason!" The tallest boy serious and cheerey.
"Hmm?" Peter didn't like this at all. More curious people he didn't need to handle.
Suddenly, a woman walked over to group.
"Peter! I'm so sorry I didn't reply, I fell asleep!" It was (Y/N). She looked at the group and smiled slightly. "Hello there."
"Hi." Ted smiled and walked to her. "I'm Ted. Peter's younger Brother!"
"Younger Brother? Oh, I didn't know that." She smiled and shook his hand. "I'm (Y/N) (L/N)."
"Anyways, we got to go before it gets to dark and that maniac shows up! See you!" Ted then looked at his Brother. "See you soon! Enjoy your girlfriend and be gentle!" He laughed and ran off with his group.
(Y/N) walked up to Peter and saw how red he was.
"Well, that was an experience." (Y/N) rubbed his shoulder since she could tell how tensed up Peter was. "Calm down. I know what it is like to meet someone that you have no knowledge about."
"Yeah... You're right." He mummbled and looked over to her house. "You might want to close your door before someone comes sneaking around."
"Oh, right!" She giggled from embarressment. "My bad. Anyways, see you tomorrow, Peter!" (Y/N) gently hugged Peter as he smiled a little and hugged her back before she pulled away, looked both ends of the road and crossed over before waving him goodbye and going to relax for the upcoming night.
