"Joshua, come help us set up, we can't do this alone, that's why we asked you to come along, idiot." Right, it's not like you told me, come along your gonna help us. I didn't even want to set up a stupid table for a party, I wasn't even invited to.
"Okay, why did you tell me to tag along again?"
"We need help Joshua, don't make me repeat myself" Said the mysterious voice. Jezz, so rude- Oh, i didn't see you there, hi, my name is Joshua Lee Byrne, you're probably wondering, why are you being so rude to that lady, well, she's my best friend, well, for now. I got told to help her and her parents to set up a party for her girlfriend, I mean, i have no problem with her girlfriend, she's nice, loves animals, and is super caring, but, my best friend, she on the other hand, she told me to help her even though i wasn't invited, she just invited her girlfriend family and hers, with some of our friends who live close by. But not me, I mean, I don't care, I have to study anyway.
"JOSHUA, WHAT THE HELL, YOU JUST SPILLED PUNCH EVERYWHERE!! Ugh, I knew I should have never told you to come help."
"Hey, you forced me to come, if i didn't i would be in my dorm eating nachos, while studying for my next exam KAREN" Her name isn't Karen, its Carol, but she's acting like a karen so, i saw it fit to call her that.
"KAREN!?!?! THAT'S NOT MY NAME AND YOU KNOW THAT, YOU KNOW IT'S CAROL"
"Sorry, your just acting like a karen, but, since i ruined this I'll just go home then, bye"
"Bye Joshua, i hope you fail your exam"
"BYE, I HOPE YOUR GIRLFRIEND CHEATS ON YOU" i yell at her cuz i can and i'm tired of her bullshit. This is how we are no longer best friends. I mean, she should have seen this coming, I'm surprised she didnt, actually, im not surprised, shes stupid. I know that's mean to say but it's true. I start to leave her house, and i felt like i wanted to walk the long way to the dorms cuz it was late and it was Beautiful out. Well, i soon regret that.
I guess I ran into someone and of course, they were rude, I don't understand why people are so rude.
"HEY, watch where you're going asshole. Jeez''
"Sorry, I didn't see you there- HOLY SHIT- JOLENE?!?!" Jolene was, nope still is, she's my worst enemy, she's perfect at everything she does, it pisses me off.
"Do I know you?"
"Joshua? The guy who was a nerd in High school?"
"Ohhhh, the one who was super annoying?"
"I wasn't annoying but yeah, thats me, you had a, growth spurt"
"Mhm, you didn't, you're still so small" She says as she does a baby face to me.
"Oh shush, what are you 18 now?"
"No, i'm actually 19 and im 6'3, your what, 20 and still 5'1"
"Im 5'5 okay, so shush it i have to go" i say then i walk off to my dorm, told you i would regret this, i very much did regret it. I forget how stuck up she is. She still has the same style as she did when she was in highschool, a leather jacket, a shirt that's emo, and a leather skirt, but it wasn't so short, in high school it was so short. Now that i think about it, my style is the same, oh well, she at least got to see me out and about where not what i wear for college.
I finally get onto campus and head to my dorm. I get to my dorm, I stop, take a deep breath, look at the handle, no sock, no tie, I should be good, I open the door and walk in. "Hey bro, no girl tonight?"
"Nah, not tonight, i wanted to let you study today, cuz of that exam tomorrow, anyways, your back early, did you and Carol finish already?"
"Thanks dude and well, no, i just left, i got tired of her being a bitch to me and controlling me" I walk over to my white, organized desk, with my desk lamp off. I sit down at my desk and open up my text books and start taking notes.
"Wait, you left early and you got tired of her?!? Wow, all i'm gonna say is, finally, she was so bossy to you"
"Yeah, not just that, she was acting like a karen so i called her karen and not her real name, she got pissed off"
"Not surprised, well, i'll leave you to study" I turn around and he starts to leave the dorm room, he's probably gonna go to another dorm room to do it, it's nice of him, im start to study.
I look over at my phone and see it. Wait, it's 2 a.m, i've been studying for 4 hours. I mean, it's worth it, I'll most likely Ace the test. I should probably go to sleep right now, i mean what is the worst thing to happen. I go to my closet and put on my night wear, hop into bed and go to sleep to my music.
I wake up to my alarm at 8 a.m i sit in bed for about 5 minutes. After those 5 minutes I get out of bed, go to my bathroom, brush my teeth, then I take a shower. It takes about 15 minutes. I shave my face after I get out of the shower, I walk to my closet and pick out my school clothes which are a white button up, with a tan vest, I change my boxers with a clean pair, then I grab my black pants and put them in my bag. I then put my gym clothes in, which are a tank top with basketball shorts. After all of that it was 8:30. I grab my backpack, put my notes and books all in my bag, I grab my glasses and put them on. Then I walk to the door and put my shoes on, unlock the door and walk to the canteen to eat breakfast. I eat, then I head to the campus gym. It was now 9 am, only one other person and I were in the gym right now. I was okay with that. I start to work out as I study my notes. My first class doesn't start until 11, so I worked out until it was 10. Then go to the bathroom to change after I take another shower. It is now 10:30 so I head to my first class.
"Welcome Joshua, ready to ace this exam?"
"Yeah, i'm gonna ace this exam, like always"
"Sure dude, you haven't failed one exam? How dude?"
"Easy, i study"
"Fair, your gonna ace this test"
"Okay class, so we are gonna have an extra student in this class for the rest of the year, her name is Jolene, be nice. Okay, so hun, Go sit next to Joshua. JOSHUA HUN, MAY YOU PLEASE RAISE YOUR HAND?" I'm sorry. What- Why would miss perfect need this class, an engineering class of all classes? I don't want to raise my hand but I have to, so I do.
"I see him, thank you Mrs.Doubtfire" When i said this day cant get any worse, it did, what is she doing here, what the fuck- Oh, someone texted me?
Roommate: dude, isn't that the chick you told me about, miss.Perfect?
Joshua:Yes, that's her, and now i have to sit next to her
Roommate:That sucks, can't you just ask Mrs.Doubtfire to change your seat?
Joshua: Tim, that's not how it works, do you not pay attention, we choose our seats, and i chose this seat for a reason, now she has to be here, whatever, i'll deal with it
Roommate: Ohhhh, that would make more sense man, well good luck, our exam is about to start
Joshua: Okay, talk after class
Roommate is offline
Great, now this is what throws me off, i just have to ignore her and keep thinking im gonna ace this, cuz i will, i studied all night for this.
"So, you're in Engineering class, since when?"
"Well, since it's none of your business, now if you don't mind, i need to do this exam"
"So thats whats going on"
"Yep, no please shut up so i can focus. Thanks"
This is just great, now she won't shut up, i just need to finish this, i got it. She won't mess with me, I got this. Lets see, this one is A- "I think that one has to be C"
"Will you not, i am trying to pass, thanks"
I FAILED?!?! HOW DID I FAIL?!?! IT WAS ALL HER FAULT!!!!
