Chapter 1: Madison

23-year-old Madison had just woken up from a nightmare. "No!" she screamed as she woke up, she needed to clear her head so she got up to take a walk. She had only taken a short trip to a park near her house when she noticed a dark figure that seemed to be following her. He appeared to be a child so she assumed he was only taking a walk as well and continued after a while she thought to herself how strange it was such a young boy was all alone at night so she decided to ask him if he was lost.

She turned around and walked up to the boy to ask him if he was alright. She had just gotten close enough to see his face when he disappeared, spooked she decided to return home as she was on her way back her neighbor stopped her, Madison had first thought her neighbor needed help or was checking on her again but something was off about her, her neighbor Sylvia a 43-year-old woman looked so young she was shrinking before madisons eyes her hair was also getting shorter she no longer looked like the neighbor she once knew. She now resembled the size of a 12-year-old boy. 

Her clothes were too big for her just like the boy from before. Madison looked closer to get a look at her face and screamed that the woman in front of her had no face. All that was there was a dark spot over where her face was supposed to be. Suddenly she transformed back to her original form and asked Madison if she was okay. Madison, still shaken up, gave her neighbor a quick nod before bolting for her house.

As soon as she entered her home she grabbed a knife and headed upstairs and barricaded herself in her room. She felt a little tired and decided to go to bed as it was late she put the knife under her pillow and fell asleep. When she woke up she felt strange. She looked around the room and that's when she saw it, the knife had moved. It was now on her bedside table, someone had been in her house and had moved the knife from under her pillow to on her bedside table. Madison was terrified as she grabbed the knife and sat up on her bed. She couldn't stay there any longer so she grabbed her keys and got in her car. 

She was driving with no clear destination when she felt a hand around her neck. She swerved her car into a ditch and turned around to see what had grabbed her. There was a boy, the identical boy who had been terrorizing her since earlier at the park, the source of her current misery. "How did you get in my car?" Madison said fearfully. "You don't recognize me?" the boy asked curiously. "Have we met before?" Madison asked as she took a closer look at his face. Suddenly she screamed, "George?" She asked with her voice shaking.

It all started 11 years ago when Madison was 12 and George was 12 they were twins and close ones. One day George was playing outside when he suddenly fainted he was rushed to the hospital but when they got there he was fine. At least physically because after that day there was a drastic change in his behavior. He was more distant and aloof, He no longer played with or talked to his sister he just stayed in his room all day. 

Finally, Madison had enough and decided to enter his room. Even after years, she wished she hadn't. There was the text written in Latin a language which neither of them knew, Madison was so scared she immediately told her parent when her parents tried to confront him about it he killed them in cold blood the police was called and he was taken to a mental hospital. Nobody knows what happened in that hospital but after only 3 hours there were at least 5 dead nurses. After that, he disappeared, and by the time they had found him he had taken his own life; it is believed he was possessed by a demon and only had enough control to kill himself.

"Another one went too soon," said the first man. "How many is that now?" Asked the second man " That's now 36 college girls named Madison suddenly disappeared" responded the first man. "Seems this guy got a type," said the second man. As the two laughed and walked away.
