They always claimed to live there grandson but if he made a wrong move such as dropping a bowl of cereal they'd beat him blue. His grandparents would always claim he had fallen and was just super clumsy, but his mom grew suspicious and asked Jayden what really happened. Though he was scared of his mom not believing he told her the truth and she believed him and that was the last time he ever saw his dads side of the family. Those beatings made him the way he is now. A mess.
