[Y/n]"Look it's late,I can't keep arguing with you about how you don't like what you brought."

In a shop in the southern part of Leale,a argument could be heard between the store owner and a customer.

Customer:"Well then you can just give me a refund on the faulty item you sold me."

[Y/n]:"Look lady,I literally told you when you checked out that it was pre owned and possibly faulty,This isn't West Gallus."

Customer:"Its Your fault for having a defective item on sale in the first place,what's the point of selling it if it dosent work?"

[Y/n]:"You literally picked it up from the soon to be thrown-away pile.Look I'm not gonna just sit here anymore,either you leave my store and let me close,or do I have to call the guards?"

A shocked expression appears on the complaining customer as she then backs down with a flustered face(no she's not in love numb nuts) and quickly makes her way to the door.

Customer:"No wonder you're located in the southern district,with your behavior,not even a Saint would want to shop here,especially with that missing eye of yours."

As the lady finally leaves the owner only let out a sigh at the weekly occurrence,already numb to the annoyance.

[Y/n]:"She says that but she's back every week,well no use getting hung up on it,I gotta close up the shop and head to bed."

The Owner then proceeded to clean everything up and before turned the open sign to closed,he heard yelling nearing his location.

????:"HEY,WAIT UP,DONT CLOSE YET!"

[Y/n]:"Who the he-"

Before the male could finish his sentence,a body slammed into him like a train causing both him and the culprit  to fall over.

????:"Ouch that hurt,sorry about that,you were closing so I figured this was the best way to get here on time."

While they both were on the ground,the male took a look at the "train" that slammed into him immediately noticing it was a girl with elf ears and bright purple hair in a gallus guard uniform,.

[Y/n]:"Well for starters you could have just said for me to wait instead of doing that AND slamming into me,and could you get off of me,it's getting hard to breath and your uniform feels uncomfortable."

After taking a sec to realize the suitiaton,the girl quickly got up slightly embarrassed.

Astrid:"Oh that dose sound like a better plan,anyways the name's Astrid,nice to meet ya."

After introducing herself ,she held up her fist towards the male with a smile.

Unfortunately,the male had no idea what to do next.

[Y/n]:"What's this,what are you doing?"

Astrid:"Its a fist bump."

[Y/n]:"A fist bump?"

Astrid:"Yea a fist bump,gime your hand real quick."

Astrid then picked up [Y/n]'s arm and slowly and awkwardly made him do a fist bump with her,leaving the male in even a more confused state before quickly shaking himself out of it.

[Y/n]:"Ignoring whatever "that" was,can I know why a guard was barreling towards my shop at nearly midnight?"

Astrid:"Well I heard you had some stuff from the ancient times and I may or may not be interested in it."

[Y/n]:"I'd be more tiring to get you to leave since you're already in here,just go look in the grey box in the corner,I don't know why you're so interested in that stuff anyways."

With a jump of excitement,Astrid sprinted towards the box somehow not breaking anything on her way while
[Y/n] just sighs and continues to finish cleaning the shop up before being asked a question by the elf.

Astrid:"Do you maybe have anything else from the ancient times maybe in a backroom or something?"

[Y/n]:"No but I could check my storage building In a few days for anything."

Astrid:"You'd do that for a girl you just met? You didn't suddenly fall in love with me did you?"

Astrid was only met with a blank stare of unamusement from the male after her joke.

Astrid:"I'm kidding ,I'm kidding it's a joke,but thanks for doin that for me I'll repay you later at some point."

[Y/n]:"Yea yea just hurry up and buy your stuff so that you can leave,I really need to get to bed,it's literally past midnight."

After buying the entire box of relics,Astrid waved the male goodbye as she headed out the door.With the owner locking the door and finishing closing before going upstairs to the second floor which he turned into a living space.

[Y/n]:"She has way to much energy at this time of night,seeing her just makes me even more tired,I'll just head straight to bed.

Just then the male noticed something on the balcony outside his window,he then noticed a familiar catkin outside,still surprising him how she hasn't fallen off the ledge.

[Y/n]:"Like usual she's here again,honesty I still don't know why I let her stay there."

A couple of months ago,a female catkin with glasses began sleeping on his balcony and when ever he tried talking to her,she would run away without giving the male a chance to speak. From then on he just let her sleep there every night,now he even leaves her a small container of food due to him feeling bad and thinking she may be homeless.

[Y/n]:"I'd be nice to know why she only sleeps in my balcony,especially when  there's others in the city In much better places.

After eating a small meal and washing himself,he layed down in his bed and began wondering to himself.

[Y/n]:'Astrid huh,I've never meet her yet she feels familiar,it's probably just the usual sleep deprivation kicking in.

The male then fell asleep,unaware of how much would change in the next few months.
