Edward was just a worker at the NSA but when he heard rumors that his master had a heart attack he quitted his job. Edward besides was the only one to know of the project.

Edward had always had the mind of a child. So he never got to think about imposibilities.
Edawrd was also a good mathematic programmer and coder only though never got the chance to demonstrate it.
Edward still did not get upset for it he lived in his own world.
Edward had created three codes himself and had deciphered two codes that were almost impossible all using an anagram his name as identity. (Ardewd)
