"I think Pel's back then" Lyssia whispers as she notices the front door is unlocked. Lyssia&Felicity push the buggies into the house and Lyssia notices the small blood pool on the carpet.
"What's that?" Felicity says looking at it
"I think it's blood. Let me see if Perri is okay" Lyssia replies worriedly. she runs frantically around the house but Perri is no where to be found. Lyssia rings Perri's number 6 times, but fails to get an answer.
"Felicity I'm really worried" Lyssia admits looking down at her 'recently called' where Perri's name was listed over and over again
"He's a big boy Lys, he'll be fine" Felicity smiles hugging Lyssia. They put Dolce&Kyah into bed and go to their own rooms. Lyssia lies in bed all night, staring at her phone waiting for Perri to call back.
-The Next Morning-
Lyssia strolls out of bed and sits on the chair next to Dolce's cot, neither of them slept all night.
"Why are you still awake?" Lyssia smiles lifting Dolce out of her cot, "you missing daddy too?".
Lyssia stares at Dolce. She has the same big brown eyes and long, thick eyelashes. They have the same nose, the same ears and even the same eyebrows. Dolce's skin is a little darker than Perri's and her hair is darker with softer more bouncy curls. Lyssia takes out her phone and rings Kieran.
"Hello?" He answers
"Hi Ki, it's only me" Lyssia replies
"Oh hello Lyssia" Kieran says
"Have you seen Perri? It's just that I know what went on between you too and I was wondering if you'd seen him, I really miss him and I'm quite worried" Lyssia explains
"It's only been a day gosh" Kieran laughs
"How would you know?" Lyssia asks suspiciously
"Know what?" Kieran questions
"That it has only been a day" Lyssia replies
"Oh, erm you said" he lies
"No I didn't. Kieran you've done something haven't you" Lyssia whines
"It doesn't matter" Kieran says
"Tell me where you are!" Lyssia almost shouts
"No your not coming" Kieran replies
"Tell me where you are before I call the police!" Lyssia shouts down the phone
"Okay man. We're at uncle Delvin's garage in Leeds" Kieran says and Lyssia ends the call. She places Dolce back in her cot an frantically packs a suitcase.
"Watch her whilst a shower please" Lyssia says running with Dolce into Felicity's room and laying the baby next to her. She showers and dresses then comes back for Dolce, bathes her and dresses her.
"Where you off to?" Felicity asks following Lyssia&Dolce downstairs to feed Kyah
"Leeds, I'll ring you when we get there. Where is Karam anyway?" Lyssia replies
"Oh he's gone on a little trip with some mates, he'll be back soon" felicity smiles. They hug and kiss each others children before Lyssia leaves for the station. It doesn't take long on the train and then the taxi is only five minutes to the garage.
Knock Knock
"You got here fast" Kieran smiles
"Where's Pel?" Lyssia says lugging the buggy and suitcase into the dark room. Perri was sitting on a chair, he was covered head to toe in wounds.
"We need to get you to a hospital" Lyssia says hugging Perri and holding back her tears
"I think my leg is broken" Perri laughs although he is clearly in a lot of pain
"I can't believe he would do this" Lyssia mumbles helping Perri slowly walk to the taxi which takes them to the hospital. Perri is taken into a room and sent for an X-Ray immediately.
'I can't believe you would do this Kieran.. Seriously, your twisted' Lyssia texts Kieran. She rings Felicity.
"Got there safely?" Felicity asks
"Yeah, I'm with Perri" Lyssia replies
"Is he okay?" Felicity asks
"Yeah, we're at the hospital but I'm sure he'll be fine. We'll probably be staying here for a while" Lyssia says. They end the call and Lyssia rocks Dolce to sleep in her arms.
