In this imagine, you and c/n have recently started dating! Also, thank you so much for 500 reads!

"I'm going to c/n's after school," you tell b/f/n at lunch.

"My two little lovebirds," she says, drumming her fingers together. "I can't wait to have five hundred nieces and nephews."

You laugh. "You're going to have to wait forever for that."

B/f/n is shaking her head in mock disappointment when c/n comes over to the table. He takes a seat next to you.

"Hey, y/n, I'm sorry, but I don't think you can come over after school today," he says, scratching the back of his head as he looks at you.

You furrow your eyebrows. "Why not?"

"The boys asked me if I wanted to play some football with them," he explains.

"But didn't you just play football with them on Wednesday?" you ask. Today is Friday, making Wednesday a mere two days ago.

"Yeah, but..." He trails off.

"We've been planning this movie night for like two weeks," you say, trying to hide your disappointment. You catch b/f/n watching you, then say, "Let's just talk about this later, okay? On the walk home from school."

C/n nods then walks off, back towards his group of friends. You and b/f/n exchange worried looks.

"You'd better not let him ditch your movie night," b/f/n says, taking a bite of her salad.

You stay silent. Hurt blooms in your chest; is football really more important to c/n than you are? And if not, how could he abandon your guys' planned movie night for an impromptu game?

After school, you meet c/n by the front doors of Grovewood High, where you two always meet. You begin the walk in silence, but by the time you reach the secluded part of your walk, an argument explodes between you two.

"I don't understand why you want to control me!" c/n yells.

"I don't want to control you! I'm just saying we've been planning this movie night for two weeks!" you yell back.

"So what? Plans change!"

"Are your friends more important than me?" you ask. "Because why do your plans with them take precedence over your plans with me?"

"You know what? What if they are more important? Then what?" c/n snaps.

You gasp, outraged. "How dare you? I am your girlfriend, c/n!"

"And they're my friends! I want to play football with them, okay? I don't want to watch whatever stupid movie you're going to want to watch!"

"But why? And my movies are not stupid! You secretly enjoy them, I know you do!"

"Maybe I'm just sick of you! Wherever I turn, you're always there! You're always at my side, blabbering into my ears! You can be so...so annoying sometimes, y/n! Can you really blame me for wanting to hang out with my friends instead of you?" he demands. (That's harsh. I honestly don't know if I would forgive him).
