chapter 12

AUTHOR'S POV 

DOCTOR - I am sorry but due to severe dehydration and starvation she has severely damaged her organs but if this all continues she might have to go through organ failure and she also not trying to respond to the medicines even her mental health isn't doing good 

Everyone was shocked at the doctor's revelation  

ABHISHEK got teary eyed and was feeling guilty and started blaming himself for everything , GUNJAN wasn't able to grasp the new found information 

ABHISHEK - I..I can I meet her doc ?

DOCTOR - sure but don't make any noise at all 

ABHISHEK just ran to the ward and opened the door quietly

He was shocked to see RISHITA , the always glamourous , shinning RISHITA was now all pale dull and weak 

She had dark circles under her eyes , lips were dry , arms held no strength in them 

He couldn't see her like this , no never , so he left the room and straight away went to his car and started crying

GUNJAN went inside the ward and kissed RISHITA'S forehead , now she was determined enough to find out the truth behind all this but for now she had to take care of RISHITA 

ON THE OTHER HAND 

No one in the family knew about what was happening between the couple nor anyone from the ICT gang except SHUBMAN was unaware about all this 

But today out of nowhere RIYA decided to call RISHITA but due to being unconscious her phone wasn't with her so she wasn't able to pick up the call , so she called ABHISHEK 

RIYA - hey ABHAY how are you ?

ABHISHEK { WITH A HOARSE VOICE } - hmm , I am okay you tell 

RIYA - ABHAY I can feel that there is something wrong 

ABHISHEK - no..no RIYA everything is fine 

RIYA - ABHISHEK don't lie please { she said very softly }

ABHISHEK { BROKE DOWN AGAIN } - RIYA I don't know what is right what is wrong but { he told her the whole scenario }

RIYA - see ABHISHEK , RISHI..RISHITA would never do that to you 

ABHISHEK - I trust her more than anything but ... it's just 

RIYA - it's fine ABHAY but where is RISHU ?

ABHISHEK - hos..hospital main 

RIYA - what ? what happened is she fine ? 

ABHISHEK - {told her about her health }

RIYA - hadd hai yaar ye ladki kya karti hai { even she teared up } I will talk to you later ABHAY take care 

ABHISHEK - hmm 

ON THE OTHER HAND 

RISHITA was now awake and the first person she started searching for was ABHISHEK and when she did not found him , It saddened her to an extent . All that she wanted was to be in ABHISHEK'S arms and telling him every problem she was facing 

Some tears left RISHITA'S eyes which bought GUNJAN'S attention to her 

GUNJAN - why are you crying RISHU ? { she asked softly }

RISHITA - DI I am that bad ki ABHAY didn't even come to see me ? { she asked with tear filled eyes and that child like innocence on her face }

GUNJAN { while tearing } - nahi RISHU -- { she was cut off by the NURSE }

NURSE - mam these are the medicines that you have to bring 

GUNJAN - sure { she kissed RISHITA'S forehead and then went away }

RISHITA right now wanted someone to understand her unsaid words , the way she was feeling , from being all perfect and happy couple she was now at this stage , she missed everything , she wanted all of her happiness back but now it all seemed to disappear 

ABHISHEK wanted to make everything all right , he couldn't see the love of his life hanging between life and death , this was something he never imagined , but for now it all seemed impossible for him , he trusted RISHITA more than anything in this world , But there was something that was stopping him , and he wasn't able to pinpoint it
