'Simple manipulation' Chapter 3

Tws: Claustrophobia, abuse, swear

We’re sat in Dream’s car. He said I needed different clothes.

We pull up to a shopping center.

I get out the car with Dream.

“Toms wanna take my hand?” He asks. It wasn't actually a question.

I take his hand.

He leads us into the shopping center it's not massively crowded.

We go into primark.

( P R I M A R K )

We wall to the men's section,

“What would you like Tommy?” He asks.

I'm allowed to choose?

“Uhm.. I don't know.” I said.

“Alright we'll look around.”  He says calmly.

We walk around. We get white, blue, red, black, yellow and pink shirts. Blue, pink, yellow, white, black, purple and a tie dye sweater. Grey, black, Brown, light brown and light and dark blue trouser.

“C’mon Tommy let's go back to the car.” He takes my hand again.

He opens my door and let's me in.

“I'll be back in a bit Tommy.” He says.

He closes the door and locks the car.

I watch him walk back in the shopping center.

He comes out 30 minutes later with a gift bag.

I quickly sit down and out my seat belt on.

Dream unlocks the car and gets in,

He puts the bag on the seat next to him.

Dream starts driving home.

We get home and I get out the car.

I wait.

“You can go inside Tommy you don't have to wait.” Dream laughs

I go inside.

I take off my shoes and walk up to my room.

A minute or two later dream comes in with the clothes.

“Here you go Tommy” He says putting bags down.

“I have friends coming tomorrow. I want you to either be friends with them or be friendly.” He says.

“I don't want to. You aren't my family.” I mumble.

“What did you say?” Dream scowls and folds his arms leaning in the door frame.

“I said; I don't want to. YOU AREN'T MY FAMILY.” I repeat.

Our eyes lock.

“Tommy. That is no way to speak to the man who gave you a roof over you're head.” He says.

“I DON'T FUCKING CARE! YOU FORCED THIS UPON ME! I DIDN'T WANT THIS! I DON'T NEED A FAMILY. I DON'T NEED YOU!” I yelled at him.

His expression changed from scowling to upset.

“W-Why are you yelling at me I w-want to be your f-friend. I j-just want to be your friend.” He says, voice breaking.

My breath hitches.

“N-no That's  it what I-” I pause. “Please Dream that's not I ment.”

Dream covers his face.

I get up and run over to hug him.

I embrace him.

Dream puts his arms around me.

For a moment all was calm.

For a moment I thought he was genuine.

Dreams soft grip turned into an iron grip he threw me over his shoulder and began walking down the hall way.

“Tommy you can't get away with this You know? There will be consequences.” He says was he stops outside a  door.

He opens it and it's just a cupboard that tall enough to stand in.

He throws me in.

“You'll come out when It's dinner time.” He says.

He shuts and locks the door.

It's pitch black.

I start hyperventilating.

“Dream?” I say.

“Dream!” I say louder. Moving closer to the door.

“DREAM? PLEASE I'M SORRY I WON'T DO I AGAIN! PLEASE I DON'T LIKE IT IN HERE! PLEASE DREAM? LET ME OUT!” I yell

I try and kneel down to look under the  door.

I heard him walking away.

Its about 3 hours later now.

I hear the door unlocked.

It opens.

I'm face to face with Dream- well not face to face he's taller than me and I'm sat down.

My eyes feel all dry and crusty.

“Tommy go wash your face and come down to eat dinner.” He says with a soft smile walk off.

I get up and go to the bathroom.

I was my face and look in the mirror.

My eyes are all red and Puffy.

I leave the bathroom and walk down the stairs.

I sit at the table and cottage pie.

I don't like cottage pie..

“What's wrong Tommy?” Dream asks looking back up at me.

“I-I don't like Cottage pie.”

“Well, either you can eat it or be locked in your room all night.”

“I- I'll just go to my room..” I say getting up and walking back to my room.
