Safe at last

The chopper landed and the medics got you on a gurney and strapped you in tightly . they tried to get you in the chopper but Riley kept nipping at the ankles trying to stop them from taking you. Ghost whistled for Riley and Riley stopped and went to Ghost side as they got into the chopper . the medics took off your vest and they checked for any more wounds but they didn't
find anything but your wound on your thigh . Soap and the others got in the chopper and strapped in and ghost kept Riley on his leash for the first time . Ghost sat closest to you and he kept his eye on you . The medics closed the door of the helicopter and they signaled the pilot and soon you were up in the air . you rested for a bit and the medics checked on the others but they didn't dare go near Ghost . 
" Hermano's we did it ."
Alejandro said .
" shit spook did most of the work but she's in need of a break ....we all need one ."
Gaz said through his headset while the others nodded in agreement.
" You're right ."
Ghost said while looking over to you to see you peacefully resting . Ghost had no clue how you were resting but he figured the medics must've given you something to help with the pain and to help you rest . Ghost looked down to see Riley laying on his boots and ghost gave him a head scratched . Riley leaned into his touch and got more comfortable. Ghost stopped and he looked up at you and thought about what Gaz had said.
The loud noise from the helicopter was loud and it was a bit cold. Ghost rubbed his hands on his thighs and he stared at the floor thinking .
He wanted to give you a rest but he didn't want to let you stop doing what you loved . He figured when you woke up and things were situated he would tell you about laying low for a while but without danger . The ride went without a hitch and you had successfully landed on base . The copter's loud rosters came to a stop and it went a tad bit quiet . Soap and the others were getting off already and onto the ground safely and they were met by other fellow soldiers.The medics unstrapped the gurney you were on and two soldiers from the outside help you off the chopper. Ghost was hesitant and didn't want you out of his sight at all so he followed with you.
He stepped out of the chopper and he was met with the hot air of the lower region of Mexico .
Soap started to walk into base and so did the others but Ghost stood with you and walked next to you as the soldiers brought you to a medical station . Ghost followed them into the medical station and they closed the door behind them. They unstrapped you and they put you onto a working table to stitch up your wound on your thigh .
" Sir, we need you to leave so we can work on her."
One of the female  doctors said .
" I ain't leavin her alone ."
Ghost said sternly.
The medics started to take off your gear and they cut along your pants leg and started to clean up your wound .
" sir please it will be quick ."
" L.T let them work , these are laswell people she's in good hands with ."
Soap said from the other side of the door.
" Ghost, do I need to get laswell ?"
Soap smirked .
" negative ."
Ghost said coldly .
" l alright then let them work ."
Soap said and ghost finally gave in and left them to work .

Time skip ——-

You opened your eyes slowly and your eyes fluttered at the bright light trying to adjust to it.
You looked down to see that your thigh was wrapped and cleaned and you were out of your gear and in only in a hospital gown. You sat up straight and looked around to see a few soldiers talking outside of your room along with some medics . You groaned as you got up to stand from being sore but you were stopped by a woman.
" Hey there , I need you to sit and rest ."
She said softly as she tried to get you to sit . She sighed in relief when you listened and sat down .
" Do you know where my dad is ?"
You said concerned .
" I don't know who he is but I'm here to check up on you. "
She said as she started to put her stethoscope in her ears and got it ready to place on your back.
She lifted up the back of your gown slightly and reached her hand in to put the stethoscope end on your back. You shuddered at the cold feel of the metal and you moved a little bit . You breathe in and out when she told you too and she made sure that your breathing was good which it was.
She gently placed your gown back in pace and she gave you a concerned look .
" Your extremely young to be on the field for someone your age , no child should endure this."
She said sadly .
" The field chose me , I love what I do and I love the team I'm on ."
You said simply with a soft smile .
" What team are you on ?"
She asked a bit curiously .
" I'm on task force 141 ."
She looked at you with shock and her eyes widened .
" How old are you ? ."
She asked hesitantly .
" I'm 13 goin on 14 soon ."
You said and your thick accent started to show more .
" I need to know where my dad is ."
You said wanting to get up and find him yourself.
" What does he look like , I might be able to send someone to find him ."
She asked while looking down at you.
" He's tall , British and wears a skull mask ."
The woman nervously looks at you and you gave a confused look .
" I'll send one of my soldiers to find him ."
She said nervously .
Wow everyone really is afraid of him .
You thought.
" Can you stay with me until he comes?"
You said with a little smile.
" Sure ."
She said and smiled at you .
She grabbed her phone and texted someone and she gave you the nod telling you that she had called for someone to get him .
Five minutes passed and you saw the masked man enter your room . He towered over the nurse and the nurse gave him a nervous look.
" h-hello sir , she called for you ."
She said nervously.
" Thank you ."
He said in a low tone and he walked over to you and sat on the chair next to your medical  bed .
He grunted as he sat down and he stared down the nurse and the nurse gave a nervous look .
" She's in good health and will only need crutches."
She pointed to the crutches that you just noticed in the corner and she went over and handed them to you .
" When can I discharge her ?"
Ghost asked .
" We can discharge her now ."
She spoke while handing him a paper to sign.
Ghost signed the paper and he handed it back to her and she smiled and gave a nervous chuckle and left the room . She came back and handed you your clothes and set them down on the bed and left as quickly as she had come .
" Dad, what's going on ?"
You said while getting your crutches and standing yourself up . Ghost got up and helped you walk to the bathroom . Once you were in front of the bathroom he looked down at you .
'' We need to talk to Laswell after this ok . it's important , i don't know what it's about but i hope its good .''
Ghost spoke while giving your shoulder a light tap.
'' go get changed okay , there's a hood and cargo pants in there and here .''
Ghost pulled a clean beanie from his pocket and he handed it to you and you took it gently and he gave you a nod and you stepped into the bathroom and closed the door . Ghost waited at the door for you patiently and he made sure that you didn't slip or anything. You took off your nightgown which left you only in your underwear and bra and you took a pad and changed out your used one and threw it in the disposal bin . you carefully put on your pants and winced a little from being sore and you slipped on your hood while you held one crutch . you slipped on your beanie and you looked at your fit . all your clothes were black and you shrugged it off and threw your gown out in the trash bin and you stepped out of the bathroom and ghost motioned  you to sit down and you did sat on your bed and you he helped you put on your boots .. he kneeled down and he slipped on your boots carefully and he tied them . Once he was finished he tapped your foot and you stood up with the help of your crutches .
'' we gotta head to lasswell's office now alright .''
Ghost said gently .
'' i know , lets go .''
You said eagerly not waiting to leave the room you were in .
Ghost nodded and you and him stepped out of the medical bay and went down the hallways . you saw a few soldiers and they saluted you and Ghost as  you passed them . Ghost saluted them and as you walked down the hallway you heard a few comments from the soldiers passing.
'' holy shit thats the youngest soldier i've seen  and she's part of task force 141.''
The soldier said to his buddy .
'' the other soldiers said that the Lieutenant was her father .''
The soldier's buddy said quietly .
'' i don't know but the guy with the skull face scares me .''
Ghost stared them down and the two soldiers instantly shut up and moved quicker . you went down a few more hallways and down you were soon in front of lasswell's office .
'' i hope its good .''
'' me too spook , me too .''
