Merry Christmas everyone!
In honor of Christmas, I've been writing a short story of Y/n during Christmas, (with the ninja of course)
Enjoy:
A screech awoke me from my peaceful sleep. I immediately shot up and out of the sleeping bag. I turned and saw the door wide open.
"Lloyd?" I called out. I waited a moment for a response but he didn't respond. I slithered out of the room and hurried to the source of the sound. I reached the bridge and found Lloyd there, holding something.
"Lloyd, what's wrong?" I approached him, expecting him to be in pain. As he turned to face me I saw that he was holding some kind of toy.
"Y/n! Look what I got! It's a comic from Ninjago Doomsday Comix store!" Lloyd shouted with joy. I blinked.
You woke us up for this?
"Is that good?" I asked Lloyd.
"Pfft- of course, it is! It's only the coolest thing anyone could get," Lloyd responded.
"Hey, what's all the ruckus?" Kai asked as he and the other ninja entered the room.
"It's Christmas, duh," Lloyd told them.
"Couldn't you've let us sleep in?" Asked Cole, who was stretching the tiredness out of his arms.
"It doesn't matter. Since we're all awake why don't we help Lloyd unwrap some presents?" I offered. We all gathered around the tree and started handing each other presents out.
"Here, this one's for you Zane." I handed Zane the present I got for him and he thanked me.
"Can I open it for you, Zane?" Asked Lloyd. Zane looked at Lloyd before nodding. Lloyd ripped the present out of Zane's hands and tore the wrapping paper apart. He held the gift up and made a face.
"What is this?" He asked.
"It's a pink Gi," I said, taking the gift away from Lloyd and giving it to Zane. I heard snickering from the others but ignored it.
"I think you looked good in your pink Gi," I spoke, putting a hand on Zane's shoulder. And he looked at me. And I looked at him. And he looked at me. And I looked at him.
"Hey Cole, look what I got you," Kai said, holding up a present wrapped in red and white.
"Aw Kai, you shouldn't have," Cole said, taking the gift away from Kai. He took the wrapping off the gift and held it up to inspect it.
"It's a Kai action figure..?" Cole spoke, looking at the toy.
"Yeah, I know, no need to thank me," Kai said. After that, the ninja traded gifts. Jay got Nya a blue bracelet, Kai got Lloyd a light (which I had to take away after Lloyd almost burned the tree down), Nya got Wu a new cup for his tea, Cole got Kai hair gel, and finally, Zane baked Cole a chocolate cake.
"Hey, Y/n," Lloyd said, walking up to me.
"Yes, Lloyd?" I asked.
"I got you a present," he said, almost embarrassed.
"Lloyd, you didn't need to get me anything," I told him.
"I know, but I still wanted to." Lloyd handed me a present that was behind his back and watched me open it. I carefully opened the gift and saw a necklace, except it wasn't just any necklace. It had a pendant hanging on the necklace, and it was shaped like a snake. I felt tears prickling at the edge of my eyes, and I quickly wiped them away.
"Thank you, Lloyd," I managed to speak. I pulled him into a hug and after a moment of shock, he hugged back. We both pulled away and Lloyd spoke.
"Y/n?" He asked.
"Yes?"
"Will you ever leave me?" I turned my head to face him and thought before speaking.
"No. I won't leave you, Lloyd. I'll stay as long as you need me to," I said.
"Promise?" He asked, looking into my eyes.
"Promise."
