Chapter 6 But

{Jonathan's PoV] *

'I did say until a rainy day, did I not.' That kept replaying in my head as he kept kissing my neck.

"Ee-van are you ss-sure" He stop and got eye level with me and smiled.

"We don't have to if you don't want to." He said with a big smile. He continued "But I would have to give a special treatment" He kissed me passionately before moving down my body. He stop at my pants and unbutton them.

"Have you decided?" He said as he started to pull my pants off. I sat up and scooted back from him, who was confused.

"Evan" I said moving closer to him. "You said that you wanted to wait so we are going to wait." He looked at me and smiled. He leaned in and kissed me.

"Jonathan" He barely uses my real name. "I....I-I" I stopped him with a kiss, we pulled away for air. I looked into his eyes and noticed that they were brighter than earlier. That could just be from the light from the candles. We started to kiss again but was interrupted by the lights coming back on.

"Hey, it about time!" Evan said as he got up and blew out the candles; I blushed. I quickly turn my face the opposite direction from Evan so he wouldn't see.

'Pervert' Hahaha Shut up!

"Del"

"Wha-" I got cut off by a blanket being thrown in my face. I threw a pillow back. Then he came charging at me and we had a all out pillow-war. At the end of it all Evan won.

"Yes!! I win, What's my prize"

"This" I got up and kissed him, when I pulled away he was completely red.

"Hehehe, I win." I chuckled.

"Just shut up and get in bed" He said as he lied down and face his back towards me. I climbed in and faced my back to him, but soon after I felt his arm grab my waist. I rolled over and faced him, grabbed his waist and brought him closer. I tucked my other arm underneath my pillow and fell asleep shortly after.

{Evan's PoV]

I watched Del fall asleep. I thought about earlier. 'What the hell got into me earlier. It was just soon as my mom left, I....I just wanted him to be with me...My mind went blank. The last thing I remembered was him kissing my neck, I just lost it. Im glad he stopped me.' I quickly fell asleep without realizing it.

I woke up late in the night. I grabbed my phone off the night stand and check the time to find out its 5:30 the normal time mom gets home, but she wont be home until morning. I put my phone down and rolled over to cuddle Del but he wasn't there. I got up and walked out into the hallway, downstairs and into the kitchen where the light was blinding me. I found him there sitting at the island reading a magazine and drinking soda.

"Del...{yawn} What are you doing" I sat down at the island, and put my head down.

"Sorry I woke up an hour ago. I couldn't go back to sleep and I didn't want to wake you." He messed with my hair, reminding me I need to take a shower. I sat up and grabbed his hand.

"C'mon lets go to bed." I tried to drag him off with me but I was to tired to try.

"Not even tired Evan" He said as he yawn. "Shit maybe I am." He got up and grabbed me.

"I feel like your going to fall asleep on your way to the bed...so here" He pick me up bridal style and carried me up the stairs no problem. He was right, I was close to sleeping in his arms. He lied me down in bed on my side and got in on the other side. He wrapped his arm around my waist.

"How come you got up? I thought I was quiet"

"{Yawn] You were...This is normally the time my mom gets home and makes a bunch of noise to wake me up and do chores." He cuddle me closer; my head was on his chest. The last thing I heard was his heart beating, And I was out like a light.

[Jonathan's PoV] Morning

I woke up and stretched a bit, but stopping forgetting Evan was on my chest sleeping. I gently got up and pushed him off me. He readjusted which scared me I thought he was going to wake up. I grabbed my pants which had my phone in them. I had over a 100 messages from my dad saying he was caught. I called my dad.

"Hello?"

"Dad?"

"No, please excuse me, but is this Jonathan Dennis, Son of John R. Dennis"

"Umm Yes, why?"

"This is the Head detective of the police department. Your dad was shot last night by police after murdering a couple in their home. Your dad did not survive long enough to tell us any more information. Only his son's age and name."

"..........oh...Okay" I knew this would happen to him eventually, it was only a matter of time.

"Jonathan, if you don't mind do you think you can come down to the police department and answer some questions about your dad?"

"Umm Yea, I will be down there in ten or so..."

"Jonathan are you all right."

"Yea, im fine, be there in 10" I ended the call and checked the time; it was past noon. Is Evan's mom here? I turned around and nudged him awake and told him what have happened to my dad.

"Why would he do that to them....just pick them off...as if they were flies." He had nothing but a shocked expression on his face.

Evan's phone started to ring. He answered it and walked out of the room. Not 2 minutes later I heard him yell 'What!'! I ran out to the hallway to him down on the floor, crying....

"Evan what's wrong? Why are you crying?" I kneeled down and hugged him but he slightly pushed me off. He tackled me in a tighter hug.

"Jona-Jonathan...Your Dad killed my mom." He started to cry louder and I just sat there shocked. Tears started to form underneath my eyes.

"Evan.....Evan, im so sorry." I tried to get up and help him up.

"Jonathan, listen its not your fault {sniffle}, I could never blame you for this.......... Can we just head down to the police station?" Evan.....why are you trying to be strong,
